Amazing race to watch - kudos to Cheptegi as well, brilliant.
+1, he ran a bit more intelligently this time and it paid off. Definitely one to watch in the future as we see who will fill Mo's boots.

He's up there with all the other goats
But the lingering question is how exactly he did it

These people today including Farah can run 26:30
No GOAT is going to be remembered as a 26:46 guy who could have gone 26:30 but never did- that's a GOAT???

Three teams of nations threw everything they could at him, and he still beat them with ease in a 26:49 race.
That's as good as it gets.
Bekele
Geb
Kipchoge
This is his only actual race.
Mo - 10 golds
Bekele - 8 golds
Geb - 6 golds
Kipchoge - 2 golds

I have some golds from the back yard of my school.

Yes he is.
It's not time trialing. It's racing.

Goat of the track my as&. The good runners today don't bother to go to the track. They go straight to the marathon. That's why he dominates the track. And he doesn't stand a chance at the marathon. 26:46 - can't be the GOAT. 12:5 something for 5k can't be the GOAT.
Goat of the leftovers more like it.
Name one runner who if they weren't on the roads could beat Farah right now?
Kipchoge could maybe put together a good 10k with proper training, but Bekele is already passed his prime on the track.

Don't think golds are what makes a great marathoner to be fair

You're missing a lot of my golds. Also, I had to race these guys named Geb, El Guerrouj, and Kipchoge. A little different.

You keep posting this garbage argument. I will remind you AGAIN that your favorite Kipchoge went to the marathon only after becoming too slow for the track-7th place 2011, didn't make the team 2012. Went on to become the greatest marathoner ever.
2016 Bekele: no longer able to keep up on the track, many years past his prime, and dogged by injuries, comes out of nowhere and becomes one of the fastest marathoners ever.
Where are these great marathoners who could beat Mo on the track? The best marathoners of today are guys who tried and failed at beating Mo 5 years ago, when they were younger and faster.
Still 200 meters behind Bekele.
The GOAT is 26:17, 12:37
GOAT?
Who is the record holder?
Who has won more XC than anyone?
Mo Farah is a bigger con than Lance Armstrong!!!
Never testing positive does not mean clean.
Mo's trainers, sprint etc have all been done from drugs or are major suspects
He did not even look tired after the race

No, I'm not missing any golds. The real KB won three Olympic and five world championship gold medals, for eight total.
The difference between the runners of then vs now is how easy it was to get away with taking EPO.
A lot of youngsters today looking for track heroes try to ignore that fact, but those of us who lived through that era knew it was a very dark time indeed. If clean, the runners of yesterday and today are the very same caliber.

So you say he takes too many drugs then complain he's too slow?
What a moron.

Hi Kenny, good to see you gracing LRC with your presence. I did used to love watching you run but you competed in an era with lots of juice. Elderflower, Pomegranate and Orange juice.

He's got the greatest championship record ever at 5 and 10k but get back to me when he can run the second half of a 10k in sub-13 like Haile and Paul T did.
The last lap today was his 2nd slowest ever.
If you lined them up in their prime, those guys beat Mo.
Well he was a nobody!
He was a man that could not get out of the heats in China!!!!
He was an 'also run' up until he was 27
He only got to where he is doing drugs under Al Sal - Fact!!

If you want to walk out on the limb of saying I am more suspect than Mo, that's your opinion.
Come back when you add in my other golds.
