Surely no one truly believes this is clean. This has got to stop before the sport is totally finished. Half Men and caught/letoff cheats . How is this allowed to continue. What is the percentage of cheating athletes now at Diamond league. I'm thinking 30% +. Talk of resetting records while allowing this garbage.
If you think doping is what is killing track and field, you are a moron. Name one popular sport that you don't believe has a rampant doping problem. Go ahead, I'll wait.
News flash - nothing is killing track and field. It's never been alive enough to be killed.
Either enjoy the sport, or don't. I frankly don't care about doping. Sport is entertainment.
Now, it is a dirty record. US of A has zero credibility. If its not eating bad hamburger, its passionate kissing. Sad. Lets bring Regina Jacobs out of retirement.
I believe Ajee is clean having watched her run for Neptune High School as freshman. This is the level I expected her to eventually be at after seeing her win world youth and then world junior titles. 2015 she was injured and 2016 she had an iron deficiency, so it's great to see her progression back on track. Some of us still have faith that not everyone is doping. To be honest, the whole beef saga has made me feel less suspicious about Ajee given how she clearly was scrutinized by USADA and outside experts as part of the process of clearing herself.
Will the convicted doper have this one taken away from "no fault" like the indoor female 800m USA record too?
she's doping...fails test and gets away with it, runs huge PB a few months later. Passes the smell test for sure......
People seem to have a very hard time giving her credit or supporting her. The positive test was addressed right away and results of the test aligned with the explanation. How would people respond if this was another runner in her shoes? She's working hard and running well against some incredibly tough competition and everyone wants to throw hate her way.
I agree. She's a fantastic athlete now fulfilling her promise. Low iron held her back last year, an injury the year before. What she did at USA's foretold this race. 1:57 after rounds and through heat, front running with no pacer. She's in the best shape of her life.
Not even worth wasting time arguing with people who think she's a cheat. It's not going to change anything. People who know her, know her integrity and that of her coach understand the truth of the situation. She works her tail off every day, she's a great teammate. Nobody here is going to cheapen this with hate. She's got the AR. It's likely to be hers for a while.
I don't think she is doping, but even if she is could you blame her? Look who she has to compete against.

Obviously those positive test results mean something now... no way she runs that fast AND tests positive a few months before... WADA and USADA better take a better look at those tests...
hmm I'm guessing if there was a swoosh on her kit you'd be screaming how the tests were a farce
A beatiful goddess broke the canadian record. That was the best part of the race for me.

Yeah. She is competing against Bishop, Sharp, Martinez, and Lypsey. All of them are clean. Glad to know that you think Ajee is doping and have justified it in that warped head of yours!

News flash - nothing is killing track and field. It's never been alive enough to be killed. Yes it's not doping per say but incessant policing of doping has the general public feeling that track and field is one big dope show similar to pro wrestling.

Does this count as a women's only record when there were 2 men to help pace her?
