It's not really a display of confidence to carry on like that after you've secured the "victory" (insofar as winning a heat counts as victory). A confident person believes that they will win before the race starts. Celebrating after your position has been secured doesn't really indicate self-belief.

Bolts does that kind of things all the time, and karma seems to have mercy on him so far.

Would have been good to see him stay up. Jake Heyman ran a super controlled race from the gun and measured his kick well. Ingrebritsen would have had to go wide and come from pretty far back to beat him
