Reporting back after months on the cream.
Not good. Spent a weekend in the cardiac unit with high blood pressure and heart arrythmia. I am off of it.
It helped with recover and sex drive. I gained muscle and lost fat but the running did not improve.
Damaged myself for sure
I'm 64. I was diagnosed with lo t during a physical, l where I'd gone to find out why I was falling off the perch. I'd been T -Boned on a cycling ride and fell across the stem and bars. I suspect I damaged my right nut in the fall. 2 years later it still hurts. But hey, I am 64 with a familial life expectancy of 6 more years. So I can do that with a sore nut.
I went on therapy over a year ago. I get testopel pellets every 3 months and 2 weeks. They lose impact after 2 months and 2 weeks, so I notice the last month. Enough to look forward to the procedure. I tried the cream and gel stuff, but it was too up and down. I also tried various dosing of the testopel, from stat does of 10 pellets (insurance stat) vs 12 pellets with me paying cash for the last two. Turned out my tolerance level for bullshit was lowered on the bigger dose. Bail was an added expense. I went back to 10 pellets.
When I visit my hematologist (other issues) he keeps an eye on my white cell production, and since I have been on testopel my numbers have been good. So I am happy with that. There are some studies from the 60s referencing testosterone being used in chemo patients in cancer treatment, as a positive result. It does impact your prostate, and pissing has changed. But my PSA numbers have always been good.
So why do I still stay on the juice? Because I have way less body aches and pains. My white cells are better. I am able to exercise like a normal guy.
I don't worry about the long term issues, because I am much happier not creeping around in pain from my 10 surgeries. At the right dose - a stable dose without peaks and troughs, its not noticeable.
When I started I had numbers in the 200's. They like to see the numbers over 400, though that's still low for me. I sit around 675, and in one test I got to 900. I didn't see any performance advantages between 675 and 900, but then I am 64 years old and even though I ride 140 miles a week, I am not at the same level of intensity as when I was competing.
I don't know how old you are. Sounds like you should try a different product and delivery system. As an aside, the testopel is inserted via a pen sized hollow tube they want to stick between the skin and muscles of your buttocks. Didn't work for me as I have big muscle and low fat. The punched an uncomfortable hole through my skin which became infected. I changed the insertion site to my stomach, where I have plenty of fat to make it an easy procedure. I have no idea why anyone would want it in their buttocks.
