PR for Windle, PR for Garn, PR for Arroyo. Nice race.
Arroyo has steadily improved after running 1:47 in HS. I always say him as a miler as he ran sub 15 and 8'52 for 3200 in HS. Wonder if he will join a group and try to run the 1500 any time.
Loxsom 49./57 split is brutal.
I've followed Andres' career fairly closely (I shared a lane with him in my last HS race), and I would agree with his best event being the 1500m. His 8:52 was run solo in sunny 90 degree weather with terrible pacing. I think he could have run 8:40 for 2 miles and 3:59.0 for one mile in high school. But he is already world class in the 800m, and has the most practice at it, so don't expect him to move up any time soon (or ever). He seems like a more aerobically talented Nick Symmonds to me.
He also ran like 48 in the 4 in HS right?
I bet Vin Lanannana is mad that other cities get to be Track Town

No, "Tracktown USA" is the name of organization based in Eugene that organizes track meets. They've lent their name to the series they created titled "TrackTown Summer Series."
My DVR did not record the end of the meet due to the overtime softball game - are the Mens and Womens 1500M races posted somewhere - would love to watch them at some point.
Thanks,
Kurt
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
