Because you're the same person. Pathetic stunt, brah
PS, everyone cares more about a HS sub-4 than freshman year XC, deal with it

Hey, at least he'll go down in history as an ALMOST-sub 4 HSer. That's got to count for something right?

Not as pathetic a stunt as your boyfriend jamin's attempt at sub-15
Didn't Cooper ready graduate high school, it's June 29th.
Looked smoother than Cooper the whole way.
"Oregon doesn't need him." Cooper would have been one of the five fastest 5000m athletes on campus this spring for Oregon. You are encouraging a kid to blow off the fall academic schedule? I am not one of the Jim Ryun super fans on LetsRun but you do know Ryun didn't bend the calendar to race sub-4 mile in high school. I would trade XC All-American as a true freshman for sub-4 mile in high school. This isn't really sub-4 in high school anyway. It's June, 29th! He could be going to summer school at U of O instead.
Not same person. I am not "over kill." I have thoroughly stated my opinion. HardLoper, you have your opinion. Not everyone shares your opinion. BroJos can verify that I am not "over kill."
I don't keep up with HS track much, but i knew who Teare was and wanted to watch him. Never heard of Grijalva, but i honestly thought he was gonna win from like 600 out. Then he made another strong surge on the homestretch, and he really did look incredibly smooth the whole time. Does anyone know if he's ever been in a fast race before? And did i hear the announcer say he pr'd by 10 seconds?
I thought it was a great race. Rabbit did a good job. Who was he?

Yeah, man, That kid looks smooth as hell, and I thought he had it, because Copper lost his shape down the stretch. Grijalva just looked strong from beginning to end. He was out with the lead pack, but he was comfortable, and he wasn't using up too much energy.
Does anyone have any information on that kid? What university will he be attending in the fall?
California State Champ, going to Northern Arizona
He's going to NAU. One of the best high school distance runners in the country.

Rabbit was Ryan Booth. Runs for Team Run Eugene. Also, a full time teacher.
Thought the same thing, if that was a high schooler, that was amazing.

Wish we could see the whole race.
Copper still has the most important race of his season, the Dew Mile, next Saturday

The fbi agent from quantico?!
Well, the HS graduate almost did it, missed it by this ... much.
Did Jim Ryun have a rabbit when he broke 4:00 while still a HS student? I don't think so.
"Pretty brassy to shoot for that fast a time. If he tries to have the lead after two laps, another runner may steel the race and get the first place metal."
some people won't get the irony of this post and just think it is alloying.
