He's either limping for attention/excuses or he's really hurt. Guess well find out tomorrow. Either way, doesn't end well or he looks like an idiot

ughhh, what's the l side. it's too much trouble to use spell out words for those of us who aren't doctors or athletic trainers?
this sucks to see names i recognize (Engels, Blankenship) not make it. Who the hell is Johnny Gregorek? worth rooting for?
I cant believe Engels let up at the line, he did that at NCAAs. It costed him the 3rd spot
Robert!
He walked past you !
It was headlines super hot for rupp, but ok for this kid?
Robert you are the ultimate two faced hack.
So sad.
So so sad.
Red shirt volunteer is for medical. I gave Robbie a fist bump
If you really think about it -- the "old men" Centro and Andrews literally "broke" Murphy!

You're a real student of the sport, aren't you?

It looks like the double for Murphy has backfired big time. We just saw him grab his hamstring and limp off the track. We'll try to talk to him in the mixed zone.
Strike that, he just hobbled through the mixed zone and didn't speak to the media.
Update video of Murphy in mixed zone with longer video of him getting in cart

yeah, yeah, okay, sure, the guy's limping.
But who's the stone cold fox in the red shirt?

Not sure what you are talking about. This headline is superhot. We don't determine that. A computer algorithm makes stuff super hot if it gets viewed enough in a short time period.
Rojo is not at the meet. I am at the meet.
It is understood by the media that an injured athlete is not going to stop and talk. They need to get medical treatment. That is different than an athlete not stopping because they had a race they weren't happy with.

The hot rumor I've heard is Murphy is going to join the NOP.
I could see Kate Grace going along with him to the NOP. Rowbury doesn't have too many gals to train with for the track.
Knowing the kid a bit, he is a cocky arrogant douch3 at times. But he gets ballsy and goes for a tough double and things don't work out and instantly the rhetoric switched around on him. He goes from being the new kid on the block everyone loves to being bashed for having the gumption to go for it.
Oh Weldon, don't pretend there is an algorithm.
That's been called out and proven wrong too many times.
Murphy had hubris, why not call him out?
Why give him a pass?

So you fell for the the 'ol "I didn't have a good race so I'll limp really bad so no one has to talk to me" trick?
How many times is this now?
More runners should attempt a double. "Specializing" in one event makes people look lame and soft. Makh Daddy has no issues with the 8 and 15, though I suppose he doesn't have trials either.
In any event, Murphy is a talent and will be destroying Centro soon enough.

LOL, OK sure. Rupp did this he would be DESTROYED by you.

He was 2 feet from me in the mixed zone on the athlete side. He was definitely limping for real. Looked like an injury. I looked for and saw no spike marks. I doubt he runs tomorrow.

Limping for real... as opposed to fake limping? It isn't hard to fake a limp and make it look real.
Honestly had the weather been ok, I think he could have pulled off the double. The heat makes these doubles hard, especially if someone pushes the pace. I applaud the effort though. Dude's got ambition and isn't afraid to go for it.
I saw murphy later after his race jogging around the facility's parking lot very slow but no limp. A slight wobble at most but people jog slowly like that after a race but no look of grimace or caution on his face. I think he will run tomorrow
