Just my observations:
1. In response to above post - I don't think she is too short to keep momentum over the hurdles, but that said, I don't think the steeple will be her best event over the next 4-8 years.
2. Even if Purrier had her laces tied up, there was no way she was going to out duel Allie over the last 200m.
3. Some wished she had saved some more energy for the 5K, but we shouldn't blame her for pouring it on - as you got to do that when you have a nat championship in your grasp.
4. In post race interview, Allie says that her #1 priority now is to prepare for XC. That is smart - and I look forward to some close races b/w her, Rohrer, Schweizer, Wright, and several others that could be contending for titles.
5. Finally - could BSU ladies be an XC podium squad next year? I think they have a good shot - as they should have 3 XC All-Americans (Ostrander, Peloquin, O'Brien - who just ran 5K at Nats) if they all stay healthy.
