Good point by Dwight, Oregon loses a point by Steven's not walking across the line for 8th (and now not an All American in this event?!)

I hope they lose by one point. All she had to do was get up and walk across the finish line. What a selfish brat. Must be taking notes from Hannah Cunliffe.

Well, maybe not now after Stevens fall. They would have had 2nd and 3rd at least, no just 2nd.

Not sure selfish is the word, last thing on her mind there was "gotta get that one point", probably never crossed her mind
assuming the following two things happen, Oregon needs to win the 4x4 in order to win the meet.
-Kendell Williams wins the hep (with a 361 point lead, she would have to pull a deajah stevens not to win at this point)
-Lilli burdon doesn't score in the 5k
I think Deajah Stevens should've been DQ'd if she'd have gotten up and tried to finish to get a point. She fell down into lane 3, which messed up the runner in lane 3, who then ended up moving into lane 2. I wonder if those runners lost a spot to the LSU runner in lane 1 because of that.
If she'd have just fallen in her lane, fine, but she messed up other people's races.

It's poor coaching then. It was the first thing I thought of. Other people fell and finished

she would have been DQd anyway, she fell into lane 3 and forced a chain reaction of athletes jumping into inside lanes to avoid her. I agree with you on getting up to finish though.
No way she gets a point if she crosses the line. If she tries to finish she is DQd.
How can someone not finish a 200???

She's always been selfish

Flotrack just called Deajah's collapse a Suzy Favor moment!!! Damn!!!!
Give props to Jefferson, who ran a collegiate record.
It would be amazing for Georgia to win just based on field events and hep.
Might be harsh but did she completely forget she runs for the University of Oregon? I'm assuming she's getting at least some of her education paid for. If you're going to blow the race at least get up and cross the finish line. She just quit.

that is an unfortunate typo.
While talented, the Oregon sprinters could use a clinic on proper sprint mechanics. Terrible efficiency.
In addition, just my observation but it seems like they came into the meet either with a negative outlook because of a couple unfortunate injuries/DQ and didn't show a lot of fight in the prelims. No matter how upset coach was after the first day, their momentum was already in place. They are doing well in other events but the sprinters are just not appearing to be in a championship frame of mind. They sure are getting a ton of publicity again though undeserved.
Lets see if the team can hang on or not.
If Oregon doesn't win we're considering it a huge choke right?
