ESPN announcer Jill Montgomery is like a recurring toothache.
Anyone have splits for this 10k?

Death, taxes, and broadcasts cutting away during the pivotal moments of a distance race; these are the only guarantees in life.
Roher looked awful, like geez, like yeah push the pace if you can, don't run into the ground before 5k
Snyder has made contact with front group!

+1
Everyone yells at these runners for not pushing the pace, but Rohrer takes a chance and now y'all are ragging her for trying. Make up your minds.
5000m in 16:28 was too much for most of these ladies. What happened with Rohrer?

Takes a chance? 33:00 pace for a 31:5x runner ain't taking a chance that's just running smart.
why can't the announcers get away from talking abut Roherer?

Because she was the overwhelming favorite
"Expect things to change by the time we come back."

Because they only did their research on her before the race. Took about 2 miles to even mention Wright, who is the top returner after finishing second to Dom Scott last year

I assume you are referencing my comment. I for one, run the 800/1500 and I have litterally never encouraged front running/pushing the pace. To me it just seems stupid unless you are worlds ahead if the competition and want a good time. Notice how I said "if you can." What I ment by that was "if you're stronger than everyone else and you know it." She looked awful and obviously must have felt awful and known that she couldn't hold that and everyone behind her would eat her alive having drafted for 3 miles. So if you're going to say it's hyprocisy, at least find hypocrisy is my statement/s. I never said anyone should push the pace.Letsrun is not a hive mind. I have my own opinions.
