You do know if you keep the shoes, you still get one pair straight up for free?

How much did you pay for them? If you're torn as what to do is the anxiety worth the money?
I'd just call them. Then there's no reason to wonder what you should do.
Just call them and tell them. They'll tell you to keep them.
Now you have a free pair of shoes AND a clean conscious. Honestly-under no circumstances will they tell you to return the shoes.

The OP was asking a poll question. Not asking for an answer.
Well what would you do if you ordered two and they billed you for two and they only shipped you one?
Or.... send them back the two lefts and keep the two rights, that way both parties loose out.
Something like this happened to me almost 2 years ago. I was stocking up on the shoes I liked during a sale by ordering 4 pairs. They sent me 25 pairs.
I wasn't sure what to do. I checked the packing slip, and it had 25 pairs on it, but at a drastically lower price per pair (the total was as though I was receiving the 4 pairs I had ordered). At first I was going to email customer service to let them know. I didn't want some poor schmo in the warehouse losing his job over the mistake. Then one of my running buddies pointed out that we actually know a fair number of people that work for that shoe company through the local road racing scene, and maybe one of them had recognized my name on the order and decided to hook me up. We started thinking that emailing customer service might end up getting someone we know in trouble.
Long story short, I waited for the company to contact me, but they never did. I kept the shoes, and crack open a fresh pair every month or two.
Keep the damn shoes. I wouldn't even think twice. You're a lucky man.
If it happened in a shop I'd hand them back. I'm not going into the effort if sending them back online as you have to go to the post office etc to do it.
I'm not buying these people saying they are going to call them and likely get put on hold for 10 mins in work hours.

80% chance they tell you to keep them.
If not, make them send self addressed paid package that you can easily send from your home without going to the post office. You should not have to do a chore to fix their mistake.
Or they could just add the price to your credit card if you don't return them.

Rather, I cam for a piece and used my sword.
So many runner dweebs on this website. Anyone who returns them or calls "to make sure it's ok" is a dweeb.
Haha the fact that you're even asking this question says a lot.
Congratulations on your good fortune and second pair of free shoes!
Last month, I ordered a case of marking chalk to use to mark the course for our local Marathon. When the package arrived, there were two cases. Without a second thought, I called the shipper to let them know that they made a mistake. I didn't really want to ship it back. I suggested that I would keep it if they gave it to me for half of the regular price. "Deal" they said. So I now have three years of spray chalk, but the stuff keeps.
