I saw in the newest Running Times that there is a story about a guy running across Wales. I thought it was cool that is coincides with Brof and Sehon's run. The first paragraphs talk about how the guy tried it once and failed due to lack of support staff. Not really thinking about how small Wales is, later in the article I read that it is only 53 miles!!! That is a mere 3 days journey for our heroes, not even getting them away from the foul stench of Jersey (yeah, I know all you Jersey types, not my part of the state)

well, yesterday had some high's and lows. the low was dave's cherished pontiac ass-tek getting totalled by some clown who ran a red light. however, our hero was uninjured and will make monday's scheduled departure. he wasn't gonna need the car for the next 6 months anyways. so the insurance money ought to make for one hell of a party when we're done. the high of yesterday....after being told 2 weeks ago by my doctor that there was 80% chance i had hemochromatosis and some other liver problems....all tests were run 3 more times and i'm in perfect health. that was an enormous relief. i asked the doctor if abnormal activites before a blood teast can really foul up the results. he said "describe abnormal." my response was "well in the 36 hours before the first blood test i ran a marathon, had 10-15 drinks, had sex 4 times, and slept for 2 hours on a red-eye flight." the doctor thinks those factors just may have had something to do with the strange initial results.....sehon
Wow, that is quite a day! I can't say I'm sad to see the ass-tek gone, though I'm sure Brof fully intended on living in it upon his return east. Great news on the tests sehon...
After the west coast, just keep going.
Get in touch with these guys organizing the "world run."
The trek to the west is great training for "the big one."
Enjoy!

if only USA Today could have a small block dedicated to your journey so that towns will know when you are going to be rolling in. could help tremendously.
