Can't comment on the mattress as delivery failed, it was not on the van when they got here. I am a 69 year old pensioner. I bought the mattress through the Ipswich store yesterday and was told next day delivery and that the delivery men would unpack and put the mattress in situ for me. This obviously meant removing the old mattress before they arrived between 8 and 10. Got my family round early to get mattress out and dispose of it. I had a text from them telling me when to expect delivery so could see no problems ahead.

Mattressman cannot now offer to deliver until tomorrow and flatly refused to send out another van. so I'm faced with the prospect of no bed for tonight, don't think this is fair or good trading. Customer services are useless just offering apologies and quoting their T & C which apparently say you are advised not to dispose of old mattress until new one arrives. Does this mean they are expecting problems with delivery!! Quite how you are expected to get the mattress down the stairs for the men to instal the new one isn't clear.

Don't trust their deliver dates as the lie!!

I will comment on the mattress if I ever get it!!

I purchased a bed from the Isle of Wight store 1 week ago, the bed frame and mattress was delivered at specified time. When assembling the frame I noticed that they had sent me the ottoman design instead of the standard frame I ordered. This only became a problem when I realised I had not been sent the mental frame which comprises the main part of the bed. When I contacted customer services they explained that it was indeed the wrong frame but would not take any responsibility for the mistake. Customer services made little effort to resolve the immediate problem of the fact I am now without a bed. They explained the best they could do was to deliver the frame which I had originally ordered in 3 days, they were unable to give me a time slot of the delivery as they were doing me a favour by 'squeezing my order onto the lorry' causing yet more inconvenience as I now need another day off work. Mattressman at no point made an effort to apologise about the inconvenience they have caused me. They requested that I take the frame down that I had spent over an hour building so their delivery men could pick it up. When suggesting that they sent me the missing mental part of the frame, I was told it would be a further £200. After speaking to the customer service advisor, supervisor and the manager they stated that they would compensate me a massive £25 for having no bed for 3 nights, this is yet to happen! 1 star is generous.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It wasn't something we were aware of when running the piece. We'll have to wait and see how this develops, as it looks like it's not all totally clear at the moment.We'll keep an eye on his Lejog.
