It's a great show.
They do a good job with family drama in Season 1-3 but Season 5 is kinda soap-opera-ish. They also shoehorn in BLM and Covid and it feels forced.
As a Browns fan, I hate but respect the fact they took painstaking detail to integrate the 1974-1979 Steelers into it--they got the details right on that one. Bradshaw at the end of his peak, winning his last SB in Jan. 1980, was done right. Pittsburgh, unlike CLE, thrived in the '80s and '90s and you see the city grow up as the triplets grow up too.
To be fair I think they wrote the earlier storylines (when the kids are young to when they are teens) better than the present-day (2016-2020) storylines.
I am adopted myself and relate well to the show, but I can tell you it's not for everyone and if you don't like it, I totally get it--there are some things it could do better.
