with a 4:13 or 14 lead-off the Hoka record seems safe.

its on!
International 2nd leg goes through 1st 1/4 in about 61 seconds. Ireland about 4 seconds back. Dublin was lapped at the mile split.
Ireland is regaining ground - about 2 or 3 seconds back at 600m.
1.5 miles in 6:12, International leads by only 2 seconds over Ireland.
Ireland attempts to pass at 900m into race by International gets a spurt to hold him off. It only delays the pass until 1250, when Ireland passes International.
2 mile split - 8:13. Ireland and International were even going into the handoff but International gets the quicker hand off and moves into the front. Ireland on outside shoulder.

3rd leg:
59.5 unofficial 1/4 split - International still leads over Ireland (Robinson), but only by 0.5 step.
2.5 mile split - 10:14, Ireland passes International about 50m before the split. Dublin gets lapped for a 2nd time.
Ireland is pulling away.
2.75 mile split - 11:17. Looks like Ireland has a 5 second lead over International.
3 mile split - 12:20.
DID IT HAPPEN
4th leg:
Tobin is Ireland's anchor. The camera is soley focused on him so cannot tell how close/far the rest of the competition is.
13:19 - 59 seconds for 1/4 for Ireland. Laps Dublin for a third time.
3.5 mile split in about 1:58/14:21, lapping International in the process.
4th leg:
3.75 miles in about 15:20.
I think that record is safe.
16:20 ish for final time.

bell lap in 15:53.
16:12 point had about 75m left in the race.
