Williams was one of those untalented kids handpicked by a Hollywood insider and groomed for the industry at Juilliard, where he hung out with the almost-as-untalented Christopher Reeve.

I can only think of one prominent comedian from the past 30 years who hasn't ben mentioned here at least once. Now should he be. More later.
My two favorite comedians haven't been mentioned: Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle.

Which insider, and why?
I was thinking of Mitch Hedberg. No one mentioned him because the guy was extremely hilarious.
Is Samantha Bee update?
Samantha Bee, John Oliver. Scolds, both of them. Haven't heard a single funny thing from either one.
Dennis Miller. Takes forever to get to the punch line, crowbars as many words as possible in. Not funny for a long time.
Larry the Cable guy. Dear god, he's unlistenable.
Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer. Women cursing a lot and talking about gross things does not (automatically)equal comedy.
Robin Williams. Never once laughed.
Sam Kinison
On the other hand, Dimitri Martin, Mitch hedberg, Brian Regan, Wendy Liebman, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle. Those guys/girls are funny.
I like to think I'm more better then most mainstream comedians. I have an endless supply of witty puns. Give me anything and I can turn it into a funny joke. I dream that one day I will be in front of an audience, with Bekele as the star guest at the front, and he will be laughing away at my wittiness.

The "I'm foreign, an alleged comedian and will lecture you on things" from Bee/Oliver/Noah is truly horrible BS.
Dennis Miller is long and windy and needs an editor. Amy Schumer was never funny and Sarah Silverman quit being funny in 2004-5 (I still enjoy seeing her punched in the face in The Way of the Gun.) Robin Williams standup was unique and interesting but wore on me. Sam Kinison back in the 80s was great. He was cut short.
No one can top Richard Pryor. I remember him in my teens/college and he was the guy you'd buy records of and wear them out listening to them.
Norm MacDonald still makes me laugh like no one else.
Never understood the appeal of Tina Fey. She's not funny at all. Late night talk show hosts (ex-SNL) are horrible, and Colbert is a colossal bore who needs a throat punching. Craig Ferguson was absolutely hilarious.
dude chris rock has never been funny in the slightest.
hes just needlessly and negatively racist, which is not humor
in fact its really sad and if you wanna get real about it, hes evil and needs to be stopped
#1 non-funny, probably also most hated - Kathy Griffin
Just disgusting. Yuk.
Andy Samberg does not like our wonderful President Trump thus proving he has no sense of humor.
I like his wife, but a she fell a few notches in my book when she married this so-called comic.
Women are fickle.
T.M.A.D.H.A.S.F.N.E.
Jimmy Carr
Stephen Colbert
Jimmy Fallon
Jimmy Kimmel
Trevor Noah
John Oliver
Amy Schumer
All terribly unfunny.
How can this go six pages without anyone mentioning Ricky Gervais?
There are very few people I find really funny.
The only ones who bring tears to my eyes:
Peter Sellers
Woody Allen
Larry David
Jack Benny
Rodney Dangerfield
Marilyn Monroe
Tuesday Weld
Richard Pryor
George and Elaine (not Kramer)
Jack Nicholson (in The Fortune)
The list of popular comedians I don't find funny is too long to list.
Anyone who repeats the same tag line over and over, except for Rodney Dangerfield. I cannot stand that guy who says have you ever ....? I have."
Louis C.K. was never funny in the slightest.
That woman he said did the greatest standup ever announcing her cancer was not funny either.
Andrew Dice Clay was terrible.
The redneck comedians all are Johnny One-Note.
Dennis Miller's over-written pompous, sententious spiels were never funny, even before he went insane and turned hard right after 9/11.
Stephen Colbert, playing himself on the Tonight Show, is terrible, pompous, unfunny, supercilious. I never even thought the right wing shtick was all that funny but he is terrible now.
Whoopie Goldberg I never thought was funny.
I never thought Lenny Bruce was funny and Andy Kaufmann's standup I got nothing out of. He was very good on Taxi.
Dangerfield, Carlin, peak Steve Martin, peak Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor before the incident, Seinfeld, Carol Burnett, are all very funny.
Key and Peale are the funniest recent comedians that I can think of right now.
Definitely Nick Kroll.
I could never work out how that guy was appearing in shows AT ALL but then read something about his father bank rolling his early career through production companies.
I'm sure I read something else which was very dodgy about this guy on the old imdb message boards but can't remember exactly what it was...

You bumped a year-old thread to say something completely incorrect. Well done.
