Millennials get high health care costs, outrageous tuitions, and left in debt while trying to get ahead.

So what? They're lazy. They want unlimited immigration. They don't care about the Constitution. Instead they protest capitalism and long for socialism. Not to forget that they're a bunch of insecure Trigglypuffs.

Millennials will get what they deserve: dictatorship and slavery.

I'm a millenial and proud of it. But it's true; after I buy (and wait for hours in line) the latest IPhone, buy my daily Starbucks Grand Latte Mocha Pumpkin Raspberry, make my monthly payments to my Yoga class, buy my ALL ORGANIC FREE RANGE CERTIFIED FAIR TRADE groceries, and pay for Uber to take me to the latest protest (I usually don't know what it is I'm protesting, but I like to show off my Custom Fit Fedoras and yell and holler a lot; it's good for the id), I barely have enough money left over to take my Prius to the ski resort. Life is tough, there is no doubt about it.

Meh. My credit score dropped from 640 to 494 from student loans. No worries from me because when the Dept of Ed is eliminated ALL student loans will disappear. No for profit bank will take student loans. That's just a bad loan.

Path to success:

1. Go to junior college first and transfer.

2. Go to a state school as cheap as possible.

Other than professions that require an advanced degree (ie. doctors, lawyers, etc.), you are not going to find many professions in general that will not pay you a "decent" salary until you have been at it for at least five years. That is true of pretty much any profession and has been that way for years. There have been numerous studies performed that in order to master a skill, you need about 10000 hours of practice. You can either do this in a focused training program (like medical school or grad school that you pay to be at), or you can do it in the field. Undergraduate programs are intentionally broad based to make you a jack of all trades, master of none. As an employer, you typically shouldn't be paid a "decent" salary until after five years, as typically the employer is losing money training you the profession for the first couple of years. The idea that your degree entitles you to the same salary as someone who has been working five years or more and is actually a productive member of the company is what drives most employers nuts about the millennial generation.

Not so materialistic. I think the expensive education and the fact that its "okay" to borrow student loans is going to stop happening soon. People will realize small business and trade skills are just as valuable as an education.

What i meant by a decent salary is one where you can make ends meet while paying on student loans and not live in a card board box or mooching mom and dad for another 3+ years. I wouldn't expect to start my career making $10000 more than some one who was there 5 years before me. The debt college graduates face and the cost of living is absolutely higher and more challenging then that of college graduates of 15 years ago. There's a reason why so many millennials have bad attitudes. All their jobs or careers are being taken by other people from other countries who paid 25% the cost of schooling, probably made up some bs that they got the experience from their country and willing to work for free because they have nothing to pay back for school so it would make sense. Meanwhile for the sorry suckers that got an education here in the states Sally Mae is holding its hand out and doesn't care if you can't find a job that pays enough to start paying back. If the cost of living was less or the cost of a college education was the same as lesser countries perhaps there'd be more millennials employed. At this point a bachelor's degree is nearly a joke. Just what my credit score ordered more student loan debt for more schooling? The older generation says school is worth it? Statistically speaking it certainly doesn't look like it. Feels good to whine about it, even though it does nothing for me and I know that.

Well, where do you live? In my experience, the millennials complaining about not being able to get ahead tend to live in very expensive areas.

I graduated from college with little debt but into a bad job market. I moved where the best job was, not where I wanted to live.

I'm sure you were warned ahead of time, but didn't listen.

I know plenty of Millennials who are absolutely killing it with a bachelor's degree and only out of school for 4 years (funny how they've all just recently voted Republican).

There are gobs of money to be made out there!

There is an easy solution to med school debt: public health or military. The docs and dentists I know that did it came out debt free and fairly well off starting out.

Interesting. All the successful millennials I know voted for HRC.

Unfortunately the only way to win is to not play the game - stay away from debt, assets inflated by debt, and the mafioso-like health care and higher ed cartels. This has been baked into the cake since 1913 Federal Reserve, 1971 off gold standard, "deficits dont matter 1981, and various bailouts from 1987...2008/2009 to the present. $20,000,000,000,000 national debt, half that in past 8 years, trillions more in various state and local government debt, bank derivative funny money counted in the quadrillions.

The collapse will be spectacular black hole. THEN you will get the last laugh.
