Anyone listening to the Camel City broadcast? The guy is calling Nat Brannen Nate Brainen.
Started to call Leo Manzano - Lee Manzano.
He just called Matthew Centrowitz - Cinnowitz.
He's got a great voice though.

What's that convert to with NCAA chart? Got to be sub 7:40.
Men's mile at Camel City. 1:59 at 880. Manzano is way back. 4 guys in lead pack. Manzano is probably 10 -15 meters off of that.
Brutal start for Leo . Anyone else tired of guys saying their training is going great only to get crushed? What's the point of interviews? Brannen picked up a nice payday.

sometimes when you're training is going great you show up to a race a bit tired....
In the 4 x800 at the Armory, the Jason Vigilante coached team of Robby Andrews, Peter Callahan, Anthony Kostelac and Russell Dinkins didn't get the win. They were Main Steet Elite. THe winning team was "the District Track Club". If you know who was on that team, let us know.

who was the 1:47 for nj ny?
Paul Roberts just won the US junior xc title.
Anyone know why he went to CSU Pueblo? The kid was a stud in HS - 4 time Colorado state xc champ. He actually made the US jr team two years ago.
He was only 47th at the NCAA D2 meet this year. He ran 8:29 for 3000 at altitude last week.
ANyone have a link to USA XC results?
I can't find them.
He went there because he wanted to run with his sister, who is on the team there as well. He is an absolute stud though

Full ATI recap is pasted below. Some drama involving Drew Hunter.

The 3000-meter races here also produced quality times. In the men’s contest, former University of Colorado All-American Morgan Pearson scored a convincing victory in a personal best 7:49.46. When pacemaker Graham Crawford dropped out at 1600m, Pearson ran the rest of the race alone, trying to hold a steady 31 seconds per lap pace.
“It was awesome, it was fun,†said Pearson who claimed he was not focused on his time today. “I just wanted to win. That was my goal: just win, run hard and have fun. That’s all I’ve been trying to do.â€
The race for the other spots on the podium got unusually physical. Drew Hunter and Daniel Winn traded elbows and shoves as they battled for second place. Eventually, they were upstaged by Australia’s Morgan McDonald who passed both of them on the last lap to take second in 7:51.19, a personal best. Hunter ended up third in 7:51.90, and Winn was fourth in 7:52.27, both personal bests.[/quote]
