Intelligence and the ability to win an election are two completely different qualities. Trump is the best used car salesman around. He sold a slightly less than majority of the voters a pack of lies and they believed him. This has nothing to do with intelligence.
Wrong again. It turns out that Trump's "lies" were actually promises which he has kept. Trump is not a politician and it turns out that he doesn't know that Republicans are supposed lie to their base and then stab them in the back when elected. Trump is doing what he said he would. Even I didn't predict that would happen.
You mean these lies? (all confirmed lies):
He would show us his tax returns.
He would hire the best people.
Mexico would pay for the wall.
He would sue all the women who have accused him of sexual harassment.
He now has said that's not his voice on the Access Hollywood tape.
Between 3 and 5 million illegal votes caused him to lose the popular vote.
That the US took in tens of thousands of people with no vetting (vetting is a long process taking up to 2 years).
Repealing Obamacare would be "so easy" (and no, it wasn't repealed just because the mandate is gone)
He knew more about ISIS as a candidate than the Generals did. "Believe me".
That the press doesn't report on terrorism.
That he saw thousands of Muslims celebrating on 9/11.
That his electoral college victory was the biggest since Reagan.
That the murder rate under Obama was the highest in 47 years.
Said NATO was obsolete and that it didn't fight terrorism.
Plants being built in Michigan that wouldn't have if he weren't elected.
Saying that he didn't change his stance on China as a currency manipulator.
Said we have a $17 billion trade deficit with Canada (actually have a $8.1 billion trade surplus)
There is "substantial evidence of voter fraud."
The Senate seat won in a special election by a Democrat had been "held for more than thirty years by Republicans."
Said Dianne Feinstein said "there is no collusion" between the Trump campaign and Russia.
"We have signed more legislation than anybody. We broke the record of Harry Truman." (he is in fact last all that way back to Eisenhower).
"Black homeownership just hit the highest level it has ever been in the history of our country."
"Hillary Clinton lied many times to the FBI." (not once actually)
Says the tax bill "is going to cost me a fortune, this thing -- believe me. Believe me, this is not good for me."
Says the GOP plan is "the biggest tax cut in U.S. history." Nope. 8th.
"We're the highest developed nation taxed in the world."
The Obama administration "borrowed more than $10 trillion, right? And yet, we picked up $5.2 trillion just in the stock market. ... Maybe in a sense we’re reducing debt." - Shows incredible stupidity
"Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal."
"We have one senator who’s a ‘yes’ vote ... but he’s in the hospital. And he’s a ‘yes’ vote. So we can’t do it by Friday. So we have the votes" to pass a health care bill.
"We stopped traffic coming through -- 78 percent."
"We have become an energy exporter for the first time ever just recently."
"There aren't too many people outside protesting" his speech at the Phoenix Convention Center. (was thousands).
Wages "haven’t gone up for a long time." 3 years of steady increases when he said that.
I could go on and on. You should NEVER get into a discussion about lying and Donald Trump if you expect to either show that he doesn't lie or that anyone else ever in the history of the university lies more.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
