Trump is crazy senile presently but when he was president is was very clever in how he could manipulate others to do his illegal bidding, how he destroyed or avoided any incriminating paper trail, and how he committed crimes but in a way to make prosecution difficult. His ability to demand and receive absolute loyalty also has given him a protective layer.
He will be difficult to convict of serious crimes. My opinion.
Criminal convictions are very hard to get with the super wealthy and powerful. Even more so for a ex president that commands loyalty from 25% of the population. Remember all they need is a reasonable doubt. That is why conspiracies are almost never charged. criminals don’t sign written contracts before they do their deeds that can be used as evidence against them.
That is why a simpler crime that is black and white has a better chance of conviction. There are two schools of thought
1. DOJ has abundant evidence of many crimes but this is the most complex criminal investigation in history and they need to get all bases covered before indicting.
2. Garland is weak kneed and will let Trump skate.

(2) 30 percent national sales tax which kills the middle class that pays a proportionally higher percentage of income on consumer goods.
(3) Having some Republicans on record as not raising the debt limit so Social Security can be examined (yes most deny this but this group lacks trust.
(4) Emphasis on investigating things people don't care about Hunter Biden, the FBI, Fauci, etc.
(5) Reducing the ability of the IRS to serve people.
