Never underestimate the stupidity of those who only vote along party lines.
I have now began to see a re-emergence of Trump flags and banners in my city. It's as if the handful of failures and general mediocrity of Biden somehow mean Trump isn't still the worst President in American history.
Look at all the dumb taking place on this message board. The flat-earthers, anti-vaxxers are all over the place. These are the clowns who wouldn't think twice about voting for Trump.
"It's as if the handful of failures and general mediocrity of Biden somehow mean Trump isn't still the worst President in American history."
This sums up my frustration with the idiots pretty well. A proud dismissal of the concept of "relativity."
And it's even worse than the quote presents, because he's not "just" the worst president in history. Pre-Trump, one could be at the bottom of that (fully subjective, of course) list and still not be within a light year as bad as Trump. Now, it's, "Hey, of course I don't want the mediocre politician from the other party, I want the AUTOCRAT from my party !!"
Which, interestingly, brings me to my disagreement with the first sentence of the post. I'm a life-long conservative who believes that people ABSOLUTELY OUGHT to vote along party lines as long as the R party is what it. Indeed, I'd go as far to say that voting for Rs at this point is downright un-patriotic. How can one justify supporting a party that chooses an unrepentant election stealer as their leader?
If I have to put up with some liberal policies that irritate me for the foreseeable future, that is a price that I will GLADLY pay to keep the party that wants to destroy the U.S. as we know it from power. I just wish that a HELL of a lot more conservatives and moderates would PLEASE look at it this way.
