SV Dáte had waited five long years to ask Donald Trump one question: “Mr President, after three and a half years [of Trump’s presidency], do you regret at all, all the lying you’ve done to the American people?”
Confronted with Dáte’s question at Thursday’s White House briefing, Trump responded with a question of his own. “All the what?” he said.
Well, ok then wrote:

What was the special investigation about? ...
The Special Counsel investigation was an investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, alleged links between associates of Donald Trump and Russian officials and possible obstruction of justice by Trump, conducted by special prosecutor Robert Mueller from May 2017 to March 2019.
The people you listed were nailed for lying to the FBI and other charges totally unrelated to the gist of the Mueller investigation.
"It’s a sprawling set of allegations, encompassing both election interference charges against overseas Russians, and various other crimes by American Trump advisers.
However, Mueller did not allege any crimes directly connecting the two — that is, that Trump advisers criminally conspired with Russian officials to impact the election.
Other reported focuses of Mueller’s investigation — such as potential obstruction of justice by the Trump administration — also did not result in any charges.
Justice Department officials told reporters that this is the final list, and that no more indictments are coming from the special counsel’s probe.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/2/20/17031772/mueller-indictments-grand-juryTo summarize: The Mueller investigation WAS a witch hunt and resulted in some BS charges against low-level associates like lying to the FBI.
NO CONSPIRACY/NO COLLUSION. Obstruction - undecided.

Sally, I know you want to focus on the past, but can we get your comment on the current situation with the post office?
You Dems here are all on board that Trump has begun manipulating the postal service to help win his re-election. I am not there yet, but am watching with a close eye to make sure no shenanigans are going on.
Which part of...
1) DeJoy having a massive investment in USPS's competitors,
2) DeJoy being appointed just a few months before the election,
3) mail-sorting machines being quietly removed,
4) trump claiming mail-in voting will lead to massive fraud,
5) trump claiming the USPS will not be equipped to count votes,
6) trump exorting Dems into passing legislation or not get to have mail-in voting,
7) Mitch making Senate go into recess,
8) DeJoy making states pay up to 8x the normal postage price to ensure voters receive their ballots on time,
9) DeJoy wanting to eliminate overtime even it means mail does not get delivered on time,
10) Trump claiming that Dems are trying to keep schools closed to prevent people from voting in person.
.. does not worry you? Address each point please.

A reporter today asked the moran if he believed in Q Anon - maybe the press corps is finding some backbone and will press him on these things. I sure hope so. And even better if they team up on him - if Trump avoids a question the next reporter should repeat the question.

truth
Sally, you put up a lot of words but this is what I read from your response:
At the moment, you are not concerned about Trump's influence on the post office.
You are not concerned that people's paychecks and payments to businesses are being delayed.
You are not concerned about people not getting their prescriptions in a timely manner.
You mention he could be impeached if wrongdoing is shown but know that couldn't happen until after the election.
So, if Trump disrupted the election, helping himself win, then you get Pence as president.
I know you'd like that and would prefer that to Biden winning.
Why can't the senate pull together right NOW with a 2/3 vote to ensure full funding of the post office immediately?
Anti-Trump forces I'd suggest you hold off on the max outrage about the post office...let's let the fog of war burn off a bit before we go nuts. It's starting to sound like might be a long-planned reorg.

If it's a contest of voter enthusiasm, Democrats will win by a landslide.
Just making it harder to vote will not work. Republicans will have to be targeted in their efforts. But they are quite adept at it.
Fats, if trump has the USPS in his pocket then none of that matters, it's over.
It's not over until Tiny does one of the following:
1) Dies in office
2) Thrown in prison
3) Flee to exile
4) Taken out back and shot
Blatant cheating makes #4 more and more probable.

But there are some reporters that accommodate him a bit. For example, he was given a softball question about allegations of Harris not being eligible to become VP... it was perfect for him and allowed him to sell the conspiracy theory further. He even went on to say the author of the Newsweek article is a highly reputable person, which is total bs and the reporter made no attempt to press him on it. Why do some reporters give him oxygen like that? That's not even something that should be discussed seriously unless he brings it up and reporters press him on the merits.

I'm afraid no one is going to hold him accountable for cheating. Once the election results are called into question by Trump it's game over for Biden and the country.

Republican Senators are corrupt and want nothing to do with upholding the Constitution
That was a rhetorical softball to Sally.
He'd be happy with Republicans dragging their feet to remain in power.
To agip, we do need max outrage now about the post office.
There has been too much complacency.

I have to apologize to Fat Hurts for not giving credence to this post when he first put it out there (2 years ago?). It seemed so preposterous at the time.

The covid response is the same.
There are reports of cases continuing to grow and people keep dying.
A former Republican Presidential candidate died from covid 19 after bragging about no masks required at a Trump rally.
But they keep saying no masks and let's get a lot of people together and throw parties and open everything up right now.
Very true,
