BREAKING!
Trump makes infrastructure deal with . . . . GASP . . . Democrats ... TWO TRILLION!
Republicans are in shock.
2) Goes to show you that books smarts don't always equate to financial success. With all those fancy degrees and awesome grades she still teaches community college, no??? Me, OTOH, was an okay student at a crappy public school, only got into a state university because I could run fast, somehow managed to get out of college with a BS in EE, co-founded a company at 24, said company was acquired 3 years later by a F500, co-founded a second company 2 years later which was purchased by a PE last year for FU money. Now I will never have to work again (although I'll eventually do something since I'm a bit bored - probably found a VC firm).
She can't be that smart.
She married you.
LOLZ
Remember when Trump cut a deal on DACA with Chuck and Nancy only to have right wingers get in his ear later ot recerse it?
Let's see where this infrastructure deal goes and who blows it up.

He also told the truth when he set he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose his supporters.
His people are fine with any crimes he may commit.
I think more accurately is that he CREATED that truth when he said it. He made it sound acceptable to supporters of his that he could basically do anything he wants and get away with it.

Trump will blow up his own deal. He will demand $25 billion to build his wall of ego. He likely did not demand it from Chuck & Nancy. Instead after he uses his "emergency" powers to force it passed McConnel, he will then use he existing emergency declaration to "re-appropriate" $25 billion, likely more, from the $2 trillion deal.

Except we know that Trump did NOT get straight A's or even all A's or even half A's.
While he has threatened Penn not to release his grades, so we don't know what they were, we DO know that he wasn't any level of "c*m laude" there, so we know he didn't even have a 3.5 GPA there.
He was not a top student and clearly embarrassed by his performance as a student or he wouldn't threaten all schools he ever attended to not release his transcripts. He's not a smart man. At least Nixon was smart...criminal but smart.
You would agree that you could say the same thing about Obama. His records are held tight under lock-and-key.
I absolutely would NOT say the same thing about Obama.
Obama graduated Magna C*m Laude from Harvard Law School...a stated fact (easily found with a Google search), meaning that he had between a 3.8 and 3.9 GPA there. He was also President of the Harvard Law Review, something that doesn't happen for mediocre and below students like Trump. He then took jobs before getting into politics that are only gotten by the top of the top. Trump went to work for his daddy.
Seriously, just stop. Barack Obama is a brilliant man, backed up by his work and easily seen in how he conducts himself, how he speaks, etc. You are right to dislike his politics if you wish, but to try to equate Obama's intelligence in any way to Trump's is ridiculous and unfounded and just flat wrong.
WTF is wrong with you?
I have known three savant-level geniuses (though they don't have the necessary additional qualities to be savants) in my life. One is my wife. One was a high school friend whose family did not value education at all which helped drive him to drug addiction and time in and out of jail, and he never went to college, and one is another high school classmate who barely graduated from college and still lives with his parents even though he's over 50, and he's only had odd jobs his whole life. He has some serious social anxiety and has been declared disabled because of it.
Being super smart doesn't always translate to great grades.
As you said and I will reinforce, Donald Trump is NOT in that category. He is truly a dumb person.
My wife is a professor at a 4-year university, not a community college. Good for you on your success, seriously. My wife was never driven by that.
I can assure you I am no genius, but I did get straight As. I wasn’t attempting to impress you (could an anonymous post do that?), just challenging your flippant statement. Needlessly I dare say.
Back to our regularly scheduled inanity.

Tenured?
Kudos to your wife. My father was a professor, dean, provost, and vice chancellor at a major research university during his career. He always taught classes though no matter what his role was.
Too much work for too little pay for me. Always researching or writing. Never had much free time.
A couple years out of college I started my own business and we ended up retiring at the same time.

My statement wasn't flippant. Saying someone got "straight A's" is next to meaningless unless you know where they went to school. You are still silent on that, so I remain unimpressed. I will admit to not being impressed by much, and with the fact that you COULD be lying no matter what you say, it's possible I wouldn't be impressed even if the schools are impressive. I DO tend to see the best in people though and presume they are telling the truth until they give me a reason not to like our stupid Orange President.

She is not tenured because she took 15 years off to be a stay-at-home mom, and before that she was a graduate student working in a lab and then worked several years for HHS as a policy analyst in Washington DC before we had kids. She has only been a college professor for 8 years and has not yet met the requirement for tenure and likely will not because she does not teach full time and has no interest in teaching full time. Money is not an issue for us, so she applied for and accepted a job she wanted.

That’s what trump said about asking the Russians to hack HRC. Manafort was joking, too, and they put him in prison. Sad!
To be honest, Trump asked Russia to find the 30,000 HRC emails that were missing from HRC's server. He did not ask Russia to hack HRC.
Don't be thick. We all know what he was asking.
