When we see the Mueller Report and the underlying documentation, and it all says what BARR'S REPORT says, then I will gladly say there was no collusion. I never hide from the truth, but we have to SEE the truth first.

I DO have an ability that the rest here do not...that is true. I have posted here longer than just about everyone, and my fun from "Real Man" to HUGE biceps to the fact that I am one of the 50 best piano players in the world to WEJO, DO AN IP CHECK, AND IF I LIE, BAN ME FOR LIFE!!!! to Trump has ZERO chance to win to Jim Rome impressions and on and on and on actually is something that can not and will not ever be equaled by anyone here.
That said...
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done. I really mean this though.

1) We (or at least all of Congress) need to see as much of the report as possible because we have to assume Barr’s interpretation is biased based on his inherent conflict of interest, and
2) More than half the country won’t be convinced until they see it and Trump can’t afford that going into re-election, on top of farting around with ACA and the other 16 investigations (or is it 15???). He’s dammed either way because the report will inevitably paint him in a worse light (yes that’s possible), but that’s what happens when you are a shady MFer.

If Barr is lying, do you think Mueller would remain silent? He has spoken out about inaccurate reportings before.
We now know why Drumpf changed his last name to Trump.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not live on this site and in fact had a very busy work day with a client today, so I didn't even touch my computer for fun until after 9 p.m. Eastern.
In light of many recent developments, here are some HONEST (my hand to God and Fred Rogers) opinions I have on recent developments that have any political connotation.
1) Jussie Smollett should have kept his mouth shut after the charges were dropped. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is right to be angry. While I do not know this because there has been no court case or enough evidence to be 100% sure, it DOES appear that he set the whole thing up, and I do not believe justice has been done. Now, the FBI is looking into the case in part due to his arrogance and the anger that the Chicago Police Chief and Emanuel expressed. Smollett looked a gift horse in the mouth, and that was stupid.
2) Adam Schiff has disappointed me with his "undoubtedly there is collusion" comment. He can't say that now. We need to see the full Mueller Report before he can say that, and then, if the Mueller Report clearly states that there was not (and I will accept "not enough evidence" to mean that), then he needs to let this part go. Too much like sour grapes on this point, and that weakens any comment he might be able to make in earnest about Trump in the future.
3) The GOP (I include Barr in that) is doing a disservice to itself by wanting to block the full Mueller Report. Bad form. People who are guilty don't want the truth to come out. This is how this action is perceived.
4) I think the House should of course do all it can to get the full Mueller Report released, and I do believe that will happen. I am also not opposed to them calling in Mueller and Barr and Rosenstein to testify. We all need to be 100% clear on the findings and everyone's role in them.
5) I am NOT so sure the House needs to investigate Trump's financial dealings. I am more than confident in the work of the SDNY and others who are already far up his ass in that arena. It would behoove House members (Democrat ones) to work on clarifying what the Mueller Report says, possibly investigate any avenue that suggests Trump or anyone in his circle may have been compromised in some way by Russia, but leave the bulk of the financial stuff to those looking into it already.
6) The Mueller Report, that we haven't even seen yet, is just one investigation's end. There are still 17 others out there, many spawed off the Mueller investigation. Trump and the three involved Trump children are still in serious jeopardy, and I still do honestly believe that Donald Trump will spend time in prison for his criminal behavior (other than due to exceptions I have listed several times). It is not reasonable or just for Michael Cohen to spend time in prison for something Trump directed him to do if Trump himself doesn't also have to serve time. If we go off precedent, the DIRECTOR of non-violent felonies typically gets MORE time than the one who performed the felony. That's just one thing too that he will face. Because of this...
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
P.S. Whether those expressing concern about whether I am depressed or not were sincere, I assure you that I am not depressed. Don't mistake a genuine interest in the bizarre behavior of our President for anything other than that. I have pretty much insulated myself from the actions of ANY President, unless they start a nuclear war or decide that all possessions of Americans now belong to the government. Now, of course, my concerns don't stop at my door, so his blatant racism and serial lying and criminality are not good, but he has no power, nor does any comment from anyone here, to negatively affect my mood or health in any way.

YES, ABSOLUTELY...unless he is put under oath. All indications are that he is a by-the-book person, and he has always dealt with a chain of command in his professional life. Barr is his superior in this case, and he will go along with what his superior says as long as it isn't illegal (and I don't think Barr's summation is illegal even if it doesn't completely match up to what Mueller meant). The inaccurate reporting did not fall into his chain of command...Barr does.
This is why it is a good idea for the House to make sure we see the entire Mueller report and then subpoena Barr and Mueller and Rosenstein if necessary.

I didn't say I don't believe him. I answered that YES, Mueller would remain silent IF Barr were lying.
Overall, I don't think Barr is lying anyway, and I have already said he would be foolish to do so. At the same time, we DO need to see the report so that we can form our own opinions rather than just take the word of a guy who demonstrated bias when he was angling for the job.
I do NOT find it surprising that yet another Letrsun poster has demonstrated a lack of reading comprehension.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that he would flat out lie.
HOWEVER, there are ways to spin a report, and Barr is clearly biased, so for us to really understand what went on, we just need to see the full report.
Today as we sit, I am not able to give a binary answer about believing Barr or not. I THINK he is NOT lying, but there are a lot of questions remaining, especially since the GOP is trying to block the report from being seen. It only helps them if Trump is indeed exonerated of all things as Barr says. Barr's opinion is at odds with Mueller's statement on obstruction. I believe that is likely a legitimate legal interpretation of Barr's, but we need to see more before solid opinions can be formed.
No one can honestly make a determination about Mueller's report until we see it in its entirety (sans any properly redacted info like sources and methods or classified info).

Barr is putting a GOP political spin on Mueller’s report which, technically, is not lying.
This outcome was set up by Trump and his team over several years. They did an outstanding job in making sure that unless there was an audio or video recording of Trump singing the Russian national anthem while Putin gave him a golden shower while praising Trump for his loyalty to mother Russia that most GOP voters would have doubts about Mueller’s findings. This is what is happening now.
But, as flaggy and others have said, it is pretty clear that Trump and his family will have some serious legal troubles with the SDNY once he is out of office. My guess is some of the info about financial crimes which have been referred to the SDNY for prosecution are in Mueller’s report.
Those details will likely be the ones that Barr refuses to release. Again, technically, that is not lying and it actually is probably the appropriate (legal) thing to do given the SDNY will have an ongoing investigation which could be compromised by premature release of those details.
The problem, at least politically for Dems, will be 1) they will not have evidence of criminal behavior in the report that is made public 2) the absence of those details will allow Trump et. al. to spin the report as a waste of time and a “witch-hunt” (even though there are likely serious crimes in the full report 3) what will be released will not show outright conspiracy by Trump with Russia in 2016.
Now, there likely will be all kinds of things that make Trump and his administration look like idiots / incompetent in regards to how they handled various issues during the campaign. Of course, there is also the fact that Trump is on tape saying, repeatedly, that no one from his campaign had high level contacts with Russians in 2016–which is absolutely not true. But the problem for Dems is we already know most of those details.
The question is, how well will he Dems be able to spin the details of the report into their advantage politically and can they outspin Trump & his team? That’s a tall order for the Dems. Should be an interesting election cycle.

not even close sailor man. Trump owns you and Flagpole both. You and Flagpole has the same exact obsession. Flagpole lies. #######If the report had shown what he wanted, he would have been on here a dozen times a day.####### The suckers are you and Flagpole and Trump is wrapped up in both of your tiny brains. continue on Commie Flagpole and Commie Jesse, you're both OBSESSED with TRUMP. Please don't stop, it's too entertaining.
Flagpole doesn't know what truth is, it seems. As we know, he's been wrong for three years regarding POTUS45, and he just keeps doubling down over and over. But he's only able to do this because there are no repercussions on internet messageboards (land of make-believe).
Then he says he "doesn't spend a lot of time on the messageboard". Uhh, about 12,000 posts from you proves otherwise, you filthy LIAR.
However, he bought into the establishment narrative that Trump couldn't win before the 2016 election, and then bought even harder into the silly Russian Collusion and Obstruction HOAX. It was silly when it started, and I told him it was silly. I told him he will regret trusting the establishment political-media industrial complex. I told him repeatedly that he looked like a silly man posting such obviously fabricated speculation.
But he carried on. Therefore, he will forever be known on the LRC board as Clownpole.
Mueller HAD NOTHING.
Flagpole proved, once again, to be the King of the Clowns.
