Ivanka is in some hot water for making material misrepresentations to potential investors.
She lied to say that a project was almost sold out, when it was barely sold at all.
then the projects went belly up.
These things just take forever to go through the courts.

We had two major national stories this week of domestic terrorism.
Both of them stoked by the rhetoric of Donald Trump.
One person sent poorly devised bombs to a number of prominent Democrats and Trump critics.
Trump gave a half-hearted rebuke and then went on to attack the media.
Another person killed a number of Jewish people during worship who the killer attacked because he heard Jewish people were helping the caravan of Central America refugees that Trump had been vilifying.
Trump’s response was that they should have had armed guards at their synagogue.
Trump has put in all of this effort scaring people that we are in danger of Muslims and immigrants from the south coming to harm us.
The danger is here. The danger is troubled Americans. The danger is being empowered and motivated by our president.
And now we get this news:
Florida GOP office drive-by shooting near Daytona Beach. Vandalized? Somebody could have got killed.

Rigged lies again.
There were no ISIS terrorists found in the caravan. There were some suspected terrorists arrested who might (or might not) have links to ISIS. They were arrested in Guatemala, but not in the caravan.
They were arrested before the caravan even reached Guatemala. So there is no way they could have ever joined the caravan.
Some gun-toting liberal shot at a Republican office?
ISIS is in Central America?
We need to make sure that it isn't easy for these people to get guns then.
You must agree with that.
I think it’s fair to say after recent the violence, near violence, and verbal acrimony of the past two weeks that any pretense of a “center” in the United States has evaporated, probably for good. Which among us who read this thread would be willing to extend a hand across to the other side of the political divide, whether you are reaching toward those on right from the left, like myself, or the reverse? We are now in a pre-civil war state, essentially. I have little interest in hearing from those who are fascists or apologists to fascists, who defend ‘45 on any level. Doubtless, you have just as little interest in my perspective. Discourse between left and right is effectively over, and it’s just as bad within the two camps. I recently reread the Iliad and was struck by how much that foundational text is about the vitriol within the Greek camp as it is between the Greek and Trojan camps. The difference in Homer is that all parties had an ability to grieve and find respect among their foe. After 48 hours of listening to right wingers knowingly defend, deflect, obstreperate and generally engage in disingenuous calumny, I am feel a strange sort of freedom. It is probably what happened to a knight before jousting or my father at Omaha Beach—the only realty going forward is survival, the only truth is your own truth. The only action is do unto them before they do it to you.

Trump is sending 5,200 armed troops to the border in response to fewer than 4,000 refugees at the southern tip of Mexico who are walking/hitch hiking to America in search of a better life in our very rich and prosperous nation. We currently have fewer troops stationed in Iraq.
Yes, the Republican party is racist and stupid and cruel and an enemy of democracy, but it's important to remember that it's also full of giant pvssies.

Good. The military should be defending our borders from invasion not running around Iraq.

Maybe we really do need to abolish ICE. Apparently, they need our military to do their job for them.
Of course, the real reason Tiny is doing this is because we are supposed to be scared of these poor immigrants. To Trumpers, they look brown and scary. To normal people, they just look like refugees.

Did you see the comments Trump has been making about the Fed?
For one, he is saying how it is unfair that Obama had 0% rates to help the economy and that the rates are now about 2% which hurts the stock market.
The rates are adjusted to the economy, so if he wants to tout a good economy then he has to deal with the rates that correspond.
And he is also saying that if he had 0% interest rates then he can pay down the debt.
Wow!
There is no rate that will help you pay down the debt if you run a deficit - especially a trillion dollar deficit.
This guy constantly talks out of his posterior.
We need to start having exams for anyone who wants to run for President. He constantly shows that he knows nothing about how the economy works or really anything else. If he weren't so criminal, it would be funny.

Great slide show here. Terrifying photos of our INVADERS: women, children, and quite a few men wearing backwards hats. (You know what that means: probable gang member or rapist.) The lamestream media is just omitting all the pictures of giant men carrying rocket launchers, machine guns, and severed human heads because they hate 'murica.

This is insane that the Trump's continue to get away with this. Back when I was a reporter, I wrote a story about a guy who was taking in golf memberships for a golf club that he was about to build. He was quoted in my story as saying that they were close to selling out their memberships. His club then never got off the ground and he was sued and spent some time in jail in addition to having to pay some hefty fees.
You just can't do stuff like that.
The Trumps are grifters...plain and simple.

Great counterargument.
You are being dragged down on purpose - now more than ever you need to have some faith in democracy, as that's the fight that scares Trump supporters and why they are trying to dismantle it. The fight they want to drag you down into, the fight they can win, is violence. In general, they not only have more guns, but they have the desire to murder. These people want a civil war. They want to murder other Americans. That is not the way.

You just referred to a couple thousand refugees as an "invasion" that needs to be met with military force. You don't deserve to be taken seriously.
