You doubt he's a CFO of anything, yet what you say is gospel. Your middle name must be ARROGANCE.

There's Gary on cue. Full of projection, fear mongering, and bias. But vastly entertaining.

INCORRECT! I guess the guy never took a debate class. There are rules to debate, and one is as I stated. So, I win. I won already because I don't have a job I have to be at wearing a tie and answering to others. I have more money than he does too...he gave too much information. Doesn't matter to me because happiness isn't tied up in how much money you have, but it was clearly important to him, and on his terms, I still win.
You guys arguing about who makes more money is cringe material.
There is no argument about who has more money, because he let the cat out of the bag on that. He doesn't have that much invested for someone who thinks he's all that.

When you have to stoop to claiming that you won a debate...you lost.

If your claim of victory is as you stated, you lost before you won since you said the following:
“Only two more days and they will let you wear a polo shirt to work! Nice job son.”
You sunk to unsubstantiated digs before he did.
YOU LOSE AGAIN!

1) My middle name is actually "cool as all get out".
2) I wouldn't doubt him just based on his word because I believe the best in people, but then he went on about how no CFO would hire someone like me, and that is completely wrong. Hiring business consultants to help with the kinds of things I do is done all the time by companies big and small, and most of the don't care about the size of the company the person comes from. So, either he's not a CFO or he's not a very knowledgeable one.

INCORRECT! He did so first and only. My comment above actually came AFTER he first called me "son", and there is nothing unsubstantiated about what I said. CFOs wear coat and ties every day typically unless there is a Casual Friday. Go back and see when Mr. CFO first commented...he came out attacking me right off the bat. You'd better be prepared to take it back if you dish it out.
Anyway, he's down and out. No need for me to kick a downed horse, so I will let this topic go.
Conservatives have proven that they don't mind being bigots, thieves and rapists, they just get upset when other people point it out.

I’m a tax director in a medium sized company. We would not hire someone who was not part of a firm (doesn’t have to be Big 4) to even touch tax compliance or regs. Like the CFO stated - way too much risk.
What qualifications - education and certifications - do have to give tax advice, especially international? Just curious.

Maybe I missed a post, but I didn't see where he said how much he made except that his bonus was more than the salary of the average CFO that you gave.
I didn’t see where he said how much he invested or even how old he is. How did you come up with all that?
WTF???
How did this thread become about Flagpole?

Duh. He gets his info from where he usually does. He makes them up. This is Flagpole we’re talking about.
Hey, Flag. The cats out of the bag. No one believes ANYTHING you say. Many times you’ve given yourself away about your lifestyle, where you live, etc.
You’re not rich.
You’re not wealthy.
You don’t have this awesome job where you tell CFOs how to do their job.
You don’t have a fabulous high paying job where you only work 30 hours a week.
There’s not thousands of businesses asking you to consult for them.
You’re not fooling anyone. It is all a lie.

What are you kidding? Flagpole is one of a dozen or two posters on this message board who create their own storm, so that many threads become about them. Could rattle off a pretty good list of others but will leave that to someone else.
I am not a tax consultant. I am a manufacturing BUSINESS consultant, and there is a difference. I do a ton of things for my clients, all of which are manufacturing companies, and among them is helping them prepare for audits, telling the CFOs what is what with regard to said audits, and helping them prepare their software to help them with those audits and other end of year tasks. That is just part of what I do. I also test certain software for them and recommend what they buy based on their business model, the cost of the software and its capabilities, recommend software business partners who have the ability to make any modifications they need, and a whole host of other things that manufacturing companies need. My clients range in size from a small one in India that makes brooms to my largest company that builds giant scoreboards for sports arenas. It's not terribly exciting which is why I have whittled my client list down so I work only about 30 hours a week. There are tons of jobs in this area, and I could get more clients at the drop of a hat if I wanted to. Just don't to and don't need to at this point.

I don't care what you believe. Being "wealthy" is however you define it. For me, it happened during Obama's presidency and it has only increased during Trump's presidency even after the two bad days of the market. I never said my job was awesome. I just described it. Since you think it's awesome, then perhaps you should get educated on manufacturing software and hang out a shingle. I do actually only work about 30 hours a week...sometimes less, and I take 7 weeks off completely each year. I also didn't say thousands of businesses were asking me to consult for them. I said thousands were looking for people like me. Go research for yourself and you will see. Finally, I didn't say my job was "high paying" (though it is pretty good). Again, my wealth has come from serious and unbroken investing since 1989, staying well within my means. I will change this in retirement as I will have much more income per year in retirement than I have allotted myself so far.
Part of why I am good at my job is that I understand what is written. You will have to work on that if you want to have a job like mine...since you think it's so awesome. I've never heard someone say a Business Consultant job was awesome before, but ok. I'd rather be a baseball player.

Yep, and if the title called it a success, you wouldn't have posted it. Talk about bias!
CNN, that's your source? Too funny, you should have just gotten your info from Nick Jr. as it would have been just as accurate, LOL!!!!! CNN????? That's funny stuff right there!
LOL
