What's even worse is that Rasmussen refuses to release their poll. They have only released a tweet and they don't even say that they stand behind the tweet. So we don't know how they arrived at their figure or if they really did at all. For all we know, it could be an internal error in data compilation and somebody excitedly tweeted about it.
But true or not, it's so much of an outlier that it can be ignored.
"true or not..." I know what you are trying to say: is it an actual figure they arrived at, but knew that their methodology was $hit to get to it, and released it anyway, or did they simply pull it out of their a$$ ? Yes, 2 slightly different scenarios. But either way, the figure is not "true", so I think you could have worded that a bit better.
But here's the best part: there is absolutely no way anyone with a shred of credibility, objectivity, healthy cynicism/lack of gullibility, or respect for facts would read that poll and just believe that african american support # reflects reality in any way, shape or form. Yet, from President Trump, to Sean Hannity, and to all their idiot followers, they completely buy into it, because......it tells them what they want to here. If a poll was released and said he had 100% african american support, you can bet your last $ that Trump would re-tweet it.
But what might be worse is: while many of the doofuses on the right probably actually now believe over 1/3 of blacks now support Trump (because ASSmussen told them so), Trump and Hannity likely know it is complete BS. BUT...they don't care. Facts are for losers. Lies are for winners, in their book. Lies are powerful. Lies let you change reality. Lies let you say up is down, and night is day. Everyone exaggerates or spins, or tries to put things in the best light. But very few, if any, leaders in the US have had the utter disregard, and lack of respect, and lack of giving a damn about truth and facts as Trump and the current Republican party. What a disgrace.
