Layoffs from Trump tariffs are piling up.
So are calls for more bailouts.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Monday estimated the total price tag could hit $39 billion if Trump compensated the losses across all industries.
Folks never seems to give Trump the credit he deserves for playing 17-Dimensional Go while everyone else is stuck on pickup sticks.

" The Washington Post reported on Monday that North Korea appeared to be building one or two new liquid-fueled intercontinental ballistic missiles at the large research facility on the outskirts of Pyongyang, citing unidentified officials familiar with intelligence reporting."
Turns out it was me.
"There was no communication between the campaign and any foreign entity during the campaign" -- Hope Hicks, 11/11/16
So, all this time the mantra has been "No Collusion". Trump has said that an untold number of times.
Kellyanne Conway said collusion was illusion and delusion. But then later she said there was no collusion that changed the results of the election. Ha!
Now we have Giuliani saying that collusion isn't a crime. Well, that's disingenuous. Just semantics. It will be Conspiracy or Bribery or aiding and abetting. Why is Giuliani saying that? Because he knows now that there is proof that there was and to prepare the base to parrot that.
We also have Giuliani bringing up a second Trump Tower meeting where they talked about the upcoming infamous meeting. He's a disaster.
ALSO, Giuliani was asked if he knew who Don Jr. called before and after the Trump Tower meeting, and he said, "I don't know", and that was it. He had been chatty all day, but he was abrupt and short with that answer. Why? He knows that Mueller knows who it was.
This is going to end badly for Trump.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
By threatening HUGE TARIFFS and meaning it, Trump is going to end up with NO TARIFFS at all. Why can't the Never Trumpers and liberals get that?
Why don’t people understand the tariffs levied against US products significantly contributed to the downsizing of manufacturing jobs in the USA over the decades? Trump is right. No tariffs, let the market decide who wants products. Maybe Detroit will make a comeback.
Hey libs, after the past 18 months of prosperity, do you actually think America will vote for more taxes, gridlock and impeachment hearings? Good luck with that.
M-A-G-A!!!
I’m not buying the law and order stance when it comes to trump through. The main limitation is that there was an inherent assumption by everyone who voted for him that they were electing a criminal and lowlife, so how can law and order now suddenly apply when it never did to this one individual? How can it apply when those that knew they were voting for an openly unethical person continue to support him no mater what the findings? It’s like a child with down syndrome - you can’t ever expect they will behave normally and perform to certain standards for normal people.
To summarize, too many people are still ok with Putin’s apprentice residing in the WH no matter the crimes and incompetence, and whether he gets impeached or not is purely a political question. He is untouchable because trumpers keep giving him a pass. If anything, the only positive that will come out of this presidency will be that it will serve as an excellent case study for how exposed the position of POTUS is to looting and abuse, in turn flushing the country down the toilet.
What we have right now is the lowest character and least ethical person possible holding the seat that needs the highest character and most ethical person in it.
Hey look! I have been saying right from the start that Mueller's investigation is not a legal proceeding and CNN finally caught up with me. They admit it's just a political persecution, but they use the words "public relations fight" to make it sound more palatable. Where do I go to collect my Nobel Prize for political science?
The biggest misconception surrounding the special counsel probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election is that it will likely end in some sort of legal proceeding involving President Donald Trump. It won't -- for a bunch of reasons, the most important of which is that Robert Mueller, who is running the investigation, doesn't seem to believe a sitting President can be indicted.
The much more likely outcome is that Mueller releases the findings from his investigation sometime this fall — and lets the chips, as they relate to Trump, fall where they may. Which means — and this is what Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani have understood for months — that, ultimately, this isn't a legal fight, it's a public relations one.

Wrong! Not a single Trump voter thought that. Most Trump voters assumed they were voting for a fighter who wouldn't back down in the face of withering PC bullies on the Left. We were right, and we got so much more than most of us ever hoped to get. He's turned out to be a great President on top of being a world class fighter.
You guys can drown yourself in conspiracy theories all day long, but you really should try to understand what other people are thinking so that you don't get too dangerous to the general public.
got it. your defense of the president of the united states is that he is a total b@stard and has betrayed US interests, has colluded with hostile foreign nations and given away secrets and lied to the american public thousands of times and put children in jail...but you're fine with that since he won't be prosecuted. Since sitting presidents can't be prosecuted.
that's a mighty fine defense you got there. Agreed he is a total b@stard, so we have that in common.
Wow. You guys need constant maintenance. I go away for a couple days and you all spin off into tin-foil-hat land. Pull it together buddy.

Just admit you apply a different standard to men who wear makeup than you did to the last president. Tell it like it is. The guy puts on makeup and bends over to Putin and Kim. How would you react if Obama did that?
Trump’s as soft has his own jaw line. He’s like a drag queen out there. And you guys fawn over him like I’ve never seen. American masculinity is DEAD.
There are two reasons Gary won't get the Nobel Prize for political science.
1) He doesn't know what he's talking about
2) There is no Nobel Prize for political science
The Mueller investigation is full of legal proceedings. One of them is being conducted in a court room right now as Manafort is on trial.
Two points:
1. CNN says it isn't a legal proceeding. Take it up with them.
2. I'm joking about the Nobel Prize stuff.
You lunatics are too far gone.

Gary's view seems to be that Manafort is NOT on trial this week.
Cool viewpoint. Takes guts to stick your neck out like that and deny reality. Kudos. Brave, Stupid, but brave.
omigod, a GOP senator willing actually to DO something against Trump, rather than clutching his pearls and sighing.
Flake left town, for Africa. Without him, the senate can't rubberstamp Trump's 30 year old right wing judges.
In other words, Flake is telling Trump 'hey you want to start a trade war and try to bust up the north atlantic alliance? ok. But you won't get any of your prized judges approved. Wanna mellow out, there, orangy?'
