Afraid? Afraid of the answer: That a party that controls all three branches of government will keep control of the presidency. I can only speak from the post you have made -- always chiming in when someone says Trump won't win in 2020.
The best future years for Republicans will come in 2024 or 2028. There will be a sufficient gap between the Trump-GOP for the normal-GOP to get back on track. The Democrats will be different by then as well -- the old horses will be long out to pasture. New blood will come in -- same for the Republican party.
Rigged. Why do you keep focusing blame on the past for what is happening now? The claim was that the 2017 tax cuts would be rocket fuel for the economy. That hasn't happened, which is no surprise because trickle down has never worked -- the people in charge of deciding what to do with business taxes always keep that money on their, and their investors, side of the ledger.

Incorrect!!
The economy is booming.
The Trump tax cuts ARE working.
We don't have a revenue problem.
We have a SPENDING problem and both parties are to blame.

Nope. Try again. I post facts, you just troll.

That is what is known as tax month when the prior year's taxes are paid. Maybe you don't know that because your mommy claims you as a dependent.

Poor Rigged. From your link: The U.S. government recorded a $214 billion budget surplus in April as individual income tax receipts surged. What this means is that individuals paid a lot in taxes; so much for that tax cut being bigly wonderful. Also from your link: Gross corporate taxes fell 20 percent in April compared to the same month a year earlier. Bottom line: Individuals are being gouged at the expense of corporations.

And another troll goes splat.
"In a healthy labor market, which is creating more jobs, higher wages and, as a result, more tax revenues. Those gains, the CBO says, more than offset the 22% decline in corporate income taxes."
Despite what Democrats and the media insist, the culprit here isn't tax cuts. It is out-of-control spending, which will be nearly $1 trillion higher over the next decade thanks to recent spending deals.

Midterms are when "corrections" are made. Presidency is a completely different vote. Democrats will make some inroads in the House in Nov. and maybe get a majority there. Not so in the Senate. By the time we get to 2020, Trump will be re-elected and the Democrats will then take over in 2024 possibly with a majority in both Houses.
My real fear is that I'm right in 2020. Trump is a boob. A good many of those who voted for him are downright scary and are just as big of a bag of idiots as he is but unfortunately it is what we are stuck with in this country at the moment.
I hope you are right regarding both parties straightening themselves out but I don't have the hope that you do.

You just proved the point the poster made; always chiming in when someone says Trump won't win in 2020. You: -Trump will win. -Dems have no chance to take the Senate. -Dems maybe (unlikely) get the House.
Where did the "increased" revenue come from if corporate taxes were down 20%?

Did wages increase 22% in April?

Pointing out that someone is posting to make a point isn't pointing anything out. It's a message board. Do you have anything to offer than recapping what posters are posting?

You have no defense for your political stance. Please offer something of value other than always commenting that Trump and Republicans will keep winning and Democrats really have no chance.

Short answer: more jobs
"In a healthy labor market, which is creating more jobs, higher wages and, as a result, more tax revenues. Those gains, the CBO says, more than offset the 22% decline in corporate income taxes."
If the Dems want to run on a platform of raising more taxes for 2020, good luck with that.
Trump wins. Trump wins again.

My actual stance is that Trump will very likely be re-elected. I think there are enough idiots in this country who will vote for him as part of his base along with enough moderate Republicans to re-elect him.
The Democrats may take the House but not the Senate. Is there any opinion out there that the Democrats will take the Senate? I don't think my stance on that is out on a limb by any means.
This seems to upset you. Why don't you express your feelings to the board so we can see if we can relax you a bit.
