America, greatest country in the world, argues that it shouldn't be compared to first world countries and isn't quite as bad as third world shitholes.
So much winning.

This is VERY bad news for Trump and Manafort. With these indictments Mueller is also telling everyone in the Trump circle that he knows all. Gates will be cooperating. I'm assuming Mueller included Gates in case he was having any reservations about cooperating. Manafort is truly between a rock and hard place. He desperately needs a plea deal to save some years off his prison term, but if he flips, the Russians will have a price on his head. Polonium tea, anyone? And I'm guessing Mueller has additional indictments for Manafort if necessary.
More good news for justice. Rule of law. Mueller time is here.

He certainly is. If you're an American citizen or legal resident, DJT is your President, period.
Yes, he wasn't the choice of a majority of Americans, or even of a plurality; but he won in the Electoral College--the only vote that truly counts.
Still, isn't it too bad that so many Donald lovers keep harking back to something that happened 15 months ago? It's almost as though they haven't had anything that they could really celebrate since then.
Sad.

Genuine Fake news’ one sentence summary was spot on.

This is the same issue I have with debate about universal healthcare. "Look at Denmark!" Denmark has 5 million people. If you scale it up 75x you may or may not get the same results. Not to mention that the demographics are different.
I'm not taking either side here. Just pointing out that a comparison between two very different countries will probably be flawed.

Fair enough.
But if we are going to compare the US to other countries I would suggest that comparing us to developed nations (Western Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada) makes a bit more sense than comparing us to shithole countries.
The Constitution says:
A well regulated militia, being the best security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
So let's do that.
Create U.S. Militia Centers. These would be much like our public gun clubs in that they would be privately owned and open to the public. They would be certified by the U.S. Army National Reserve. Here, you could receive certified military training. You would be allowed to shoot automatic and semi-automatic weapons. In some centers you could even fire and train on other more sophisticated weapons such as grenade launchers and anti-tank weapons.
These would be places that citizens could receive military training and enjoy military weapons without having to serve in the reserves. But in a time of crisis, when we need volunteers, we would have a U.S. Militia of citizens who are certified in military weapons.
The only catch is that we would not allow people to store military style weapons in their homes. You could own your own weapons, but they would be stored at a certified U.S. Militia Center.
The best part is, it would be fun for the whole family!

Just like when he called the wife of the fallen special ops soldier.. he didn't really want to call so acted like a baby and showed zero respect. The universe revolves around this egomaniac.

I think it's a safe bet that Crooked Hillary's vote count would have been several million less had there been voter ID laws in place. Geez, I wonder why you idiot Dems are so opposed to these laws? Losers.
Same security we have at courthouses....Everyone checked at door....Metal detectors...Shootings would stop immediately...

And that's not going to lead to a good place.
This whole ludicrous "arm the teachers" debate is designed to distract from the real problem.
You can post an armed guard in every classroom in America and it won't protect from someone with an assault rifle at a concert or a shopping mall or a political rally.
No American should be allowed to carry a military-style weapon unless they are on active duty. That's the real issue.
Trump now appears to be fixated on the idea. Next he will say it's fake news that there was an armed guard at the school. Nothing can stop an armed person from harming another, except limiting their ability to be armed.

so you are 100% okay with metal detectors everywhere that force you to surrender your god-given and constitutional right to bare arms any time you are in contact with the public

Great article....Nice to see some logic instead of the mindless parroting by 'the left'.

What a great idea, Lying Gary!
I'm sure that the Cruz kid was ready to politely stop to be checked in at the entrance of the school. If only there were metal detectors there, surely he would have turned around and gone home.
"Progressives" would absolutely exterminate conservatives and other "non-conformists" if they could legally get away with it. This is NOT tinfoil hat stuff. We see it on TV, social media, and in the streets constantly. They're everywhere. -- Antifa, university professors, teachers, Hollywood celebs, musicians, tech execs.
The left see themselves as elite humans, who are intellectually and morally superior to everyone else. Look at the way they incessantly and constantly mock and deride those who dare disagree with them. You see it on this awful thread. Nontrumper, flagpole, trollminator. To them, eliminating opposing views and speech (and people) becomes not only justifiable, but an ethical duty to society.
They have a simple plan: 1.Dehumanize 2.Disarm 3.Dispose of
