I personally own 7, but plan on selling 2 to bring it down to 5.

I sold my last one last year, so I've got none left.
One cervelo, two giants, two treks, and a surly.
I have 4...two are road bikes and two hybrids. One of the hybrids is my go-to bike when I do ride these days, but that's just riding around for fun and not training.
An e-bike, a "monstercross bike," and a vintage steel Italian road bike with modern components.
Zero
one, a commuter.
also a tricycle. which does not count due to it not being a bicycle. it is, in fact, a cycle with a total of 3 wheels. not 2.
3
A vintage Arnold-Schwinn
A heavily modified Fuji Regis
A Kickbike Millenium
Between my wife and I we have 8
Single speed
2 cyclocross bikes
2 mtn bikes
2 road bikes
and a late 70's schwinn stingray.
The only one not ridden regularly is the stingray.
Since I'm not a cyclist and I use a bike only for recreation and cross-training, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I have three road bikes:
1. An old steel-framed Mondonico that I use only on the trainer. Yeah, it's convenient to have a dedicated trainer bike.
2. An 18-year-old aluminum frame Cannondale that is still a fine bike but is becoming obsolete and unsupportable. I use it for commuting and for training rides when it might rain.
3. A 1-year-old Specialized Tarmac that is my main training bike.
My husband, a former (and perhaps future) bike racer, has three regular road bikes, two time trial bikes, and a trainer bike. Some of them are over 20 years old, however.
From my racing days a road bike and a track bike (not "fixie"), and a mtn. bike my oldest son has pretty much appropriated.
I am down to a hardtail mountain bike with a set of road wheels and tires and a set of trail wheels. But I do still own six surf boards.
Son has a Free Agent bmx. Wife has a Nirve beach cruiser. I have a 1958 AMC Roadmaster, bought at the Pomona swap meet in 05. 7-9 skateboards and 20+ surfboards.

4
2008 Giant Reign X
2010 Specialized Stumpjumper (Al Hardtail)
1983 Specialized Stumpjumper (setup with road tires, just like riding it around - it's cool)
1996 Airborne Lucky Strike (Titanium H/T, but what's really cool is the sexy pinup lady on the crosstube).
Probably should dump the Reign X as it gets ridden the least these days.

Three nice road bikes. One decent mountain bike. One vintage road bike. Five yard sale bikes I'm saving for the apolcalypse to trade to people who lack the foresight to own a few bikes.
