Doesn't help when the site dedicated to Track & Field is giving prime space to a middling mid-distance runner's quote

Or if he said something in support of the Palestinians
It most likely was. I remember an article about him that had some quotes from his OTC teammates and a few of them said he was a huge team player/team supporter.
ESPN and SI are the People magazine of sports coverage, so it's not that surprising.
Ashton needs to be a Uncle Tom like Ben Carson ;-)

Well I can't say for sure, but the name of the site is LetsRun, not LetsRunAndThrowAndJump.
And if I'm not mistaken, the brothers Johnson are distance runners. So I assume that was the catalyst for the site.
Let's face it, Bruce Jenner killed the publics view on decathletes. Eaton didn't help his cause by wearing a Canada hat either.

It's always baffled me that someone as great, charismatic and good looking at Eaton wasn't a huge cross-over star. Part of it may be because Eaton doens't necessarily want to be that star but part of it also shows you how niche Track and field is.
He is strangely uncharismatic, IMO.
The definition of ignorance.
Anyone who's ever met him, or seen him interact with fans - as the other poster points out -- the guy is the definition of charismatic and enthusiastic.
Both of them are the classiest of acts.
The sport has been blessed to have them both participate and excel.
As for marketability -- their joint TV commercial last Olympics -- about how competitive they were at home -- was charming and funny.
They are great people. So is Ashton's mom, Roslyn. --See the Ted Talk they did together.
Not WGA. Not even close.

Yo smog boy, review their TV Commercials and Magazine Covers last Olympic Cycle. They were in SoCal a lot.
He's updated his Twitter profile indicating his interest in going to Mars. That'll get some headlines if he pulls that off.

It's called sportsmanship and loving his wife and in-laws.
Every woman watching the Olympics instantly loved him for supporting his wife that way. Plus he looked great in it.

Nobody cares what you women think.
I thought Rich Froning retired a few years ago?

Is it my paranoia, or is Rojo taking a snide jab at SI and ESPN?
At least they take the time to verify, edit & proof their work before submission.

You're an idiot. A lot of stars do not live in LA and they have great publicity. You obviously do not know anything about PR. With your mentality, you probably do not have a job.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
