depending on where you go in NZ, it is between 60-90 in december and january. In Australia you are more likely to find temperatures of 70-100
So what is the warmest time of year in NZ..??...or is it never warm enough to go to the beach..?
Mid January to March 10 is the warmest time.
In December it can get warm but the ocean water is still relatively cold. You can also get sun-burn't in less than 15 minutes in December because of the ozone hole that bloody northen hemisphere industrialised nations made. The beaches are caving in also because of rising sea levels. Theres no place to stay because rich foreigners from industrialised nations have brought all the property at inflated prices.
In the year 2040, mass miagration from asia will occur as a result of the sea rising and swamping asia's low lying areas.
Doesnt sound good..What is NZ doing to prepare for the onslaught..?

That is the most melodramatic post ever.
I'll grant you the sunburn/ozone point BUT
There is no noticable difference in sea levels! Beaches aren't "caving in" what the hell you talking bout boy! It's not like "dang this beach was 5m longer last year". The only place where that is a problem is in the Marlborough Sounds and its nothing to do with climate it's cause they drive a big f%^& off ferry through there multiple times a day.
The are so many places you can still stay cheaply and close to the beach. AND actually it was a NZ citizen who purchased a bach in Nelson for a record price late last year! NZ isn't over-run with foreign investment, it's over-run by Auckland investment. Foreign investment is at relatively moderate levels and actually is of a benefit to the country, if we didn't have any then you'd find noticable differences in your everyday life as our Dollar wouldn't be worth didly squat and we'd be selling ourselves off for any imported goods.
Mass Migration is already occuring - Go to Queen St/Any Major University in NZ. I'm not an advocate of people (not singling out any particular minority) who come here and belive our country should accomodate them and make no apparent effort to assimilate any NZ culture, BUT NZ is now a multicultural society and it's probably something we'll just have to get used to. Anyway NZ is a low-lying country in many places (i.e. Canterbury/Alot of Wellington/ Alot of Auckand) if they are gonna migrate anywhere why would they migrate here, this place will end up just as much of a swamp as anywhere else, alot of NZ was swamp land to begin with.

4 degrees celcius
... and don't get me started on the lack of oil. We will all be driving electric cars ... runners won't here them coming so just keep getting hit. The only oil left will be stored safely for the US army.

You do realise that overnight a 5c Tax was added to every litre of Petrol purchased in NZ so the NZ government can increase THEIR Oil Stores!
Any nude beaches..??

Yeah but probably not a good idea - full of old naturalists
My friend lives on the South Island..Nelson..is that a nice area or would it be best to see the Northern Island as well ??
Nelson and Marlborough Sounds are the most warm and sunny places in NZ around this time, so youve chosen a great place to go. the Temperature around this time is usually 20-25 Degrees C at its highest point during the day, but the water down there will be reasonably cold.
I hope to see many bikinis..thanks for the advice
Mapua has a nudist beach. Its about 30 minutes drive west of Nelson. Nudists are everywhere, it's becoming an epidemic there. Clothing shops have gone bust. Novice nudists have been known to freeze in winter.
Epidemic? Dude, your posts are full of shit. You hardly ever hear about nudists. They had a thing on TV a couple weeks back that Nudist Colonies were worried they were gonna go under cause they had no new recruits - all their members are dying off.
Going Away,
Mate, There is a miniskirt epidemic here in the summer and it's all good. Chicks are also clicking that boardshorts are an unnecessary addition to a Bikini kit so hopefully next summer is a good one! Boardies and Bikinis are such a trashy look.
