How often is Joe Lynn going to move? He has only been at Miami Ohio for a year, 2 years at Hillsdale before that, 3 years at Missouri before that, and 5.5 years at Grand valley before that. At this rate he is going to stay in his next job 6 months.

Chuck Wentz Is up for what position?
Didn't Memphis just get a new jumps coach last year? Seems like it would be a good gig
I give it two, MAYBE three years before Wingard ousts this one

For which job? Kentucky?
Their isn't an opening at Kentucky, likely womens coach will coach both genders next fall.
There* is going to be some opening. Edrick isn't going to only have five coaches on staff

Pretty sure he would have liked to stay at the middle two jobs but the situation wasn't right. Would you consider W&M an upgrade from his current position? I would
Alex Gibby is taking the Harvard XC job and leaving UNC Charlotte
Sad news on Gibby, Charlotte was on the rise! I hope they can find a good Coach!

Definitely. Miami Ohio seemed like a mis-step on an otherwise good career, He was doing a great job a Hillsdale, and they had a pretty immediate fall off after he left. I don't blame him for leaving Miami Ohio, mostly questioning why he went in the first place.
So with Lindsey Grasmick taking over at Western State will they hire a jumps coach?

Great hire! Barreau was solid but this is a big upgrade.

Is this true? Would he coach men and women at Harvard?
Some people are fortunate to be in situations that enable them to stay in one place for a long time. Others are not, quite often for reasons out of their control. For instance, a head coach is fired, leaves for another job or retires and the new head coach does not retain the assistants. I've seen new ADs come in and force coaches out so that they can hire people more familiar to them. Happens all the time. Or family circumstances intervene. A parent falls into bad health, kids move away, or your spouse lands a great job which they just can't pass up. Programs get cut or resources get reduced. And unlike sports such as football and basketball, not that many cc/track coaches get buy outs or separation compensation beyond July 1. All of that makes it tough to blindly place your eggs all into the same basket for great stretches of time.
Here's hoping that all the good coaches who'd like to stay in their present jobs are able to do so.
