In Portland for a bit. What are some good running places. And where can I get a cheese pizza?

Pre's Trail and Nike HQ Track are the only places to run.
Little Ceasars for cheese pizza pizza.

Tualatin Hills Nature Park
Forest Park (Wildwood Trail or Leif Erickson is best)
Rood Bridge Park if you're near Hillsboro
Tom McCall Waterfront Park if you're downtown
Pizza? Dominos stuffed crust pretzel crust or Escape from New York Pizza is probably best but we don't have great pizza
Forest Park, although if the weather is as crazy as they predict, that might be more difficult than usual.

Pre's Trail is in Eugene, and the public isn't supposed to run on the Michael Johnson track.
As far as pizza, I like Escape From New York, Life of Pie, and Bella Faccia (now just named Bella, I guess?) but I haven't found the pizza in Portland to be as good as one might expect/hope.
other popular spots for pizza: apizza scholls and ken's artisan pizza... i like gladstone pizza
for nature runs, you can run in washington and/or forest park. Leif Erickson trail (11 miles long) is wide and flattish and it's impossible to get lost - you just go out and back. occasional bikes/walkers/dogs. this time of year it's pretty quiet during the week. also in forest park, wildwood trail (30ish miles long) is rolling hills to steep sections, extremely muddy and possibly icy since it's at a higher elevation, singletrack... with lots of other trail crossings. some intersections have trail maps some don't. if you want hills with a view start at lower macleay park and run up to pittock mansion (round trip ~5 miles, at least 1k elevation)
if you don't want to be covered in mud, then your best bet is to run the downtown waterfront loop, or from SE portland the springwater corridor trail. you can make a whole downtown bridge loop that's ~10-11 miles from the steel bridge to the sellwood bridge.

Small world! I live just a few blocks from Gladstone Pizza.
There is a place called Brick House Pizza that is really good. Granted, I went there twice about 5 years ago so it may have changed.
Dove Vivi on NE Glisan & 28th has incredible pizza. And this is coming from someone who moved here from Chicago, so I know good pizza.
As far as places to run here, did you try searching this message board? This topic has been covered many times before!
