Butterfly.
Monarchs have traveled 375 miles over water in sub 16 hours
That equates to 23.5 miles in 2 hours
8 Straight times on Zero rest.
How many other animals run that workout - if you drop you drown. Gutsy
Their max speed in still air is 30+mph

1.25M in 1:59 as a record but 4M in under 8 minutes.
Correct. The four mile record is way faster than 8 minutes.
And they are born in The USA
Isn't this thread a micro-aggression against non-animals? I mean, why can't a plant break 2:00 for a marathon?

A Penguin is a bird, as is a Dodo. Kiwi, Flightless Cormorant etc.

http://www.slate.com/articles/sports/sports_nut/2012/06/long_distance_running_and_evolution_why_humans_can_outrun_horses_but_can_t_jump_higher_than_cats_.htmlYeah, we domesticated horses and ride them because we can outrun them. You and the writer of this article are full fledged morans. Congrats!
Who has ever documented humans as a species regularly outrunning horses as a species?
A couple of elite endurance guys outran some mediocre horses that were probably cart or plough horses and that sets some myth in motion.
I can assure you that the first domesticated horses were not captured by guys running them down.
What's a full fledged moran?
Also- just because horses can outrun men doesn't mean they can run 26.2 miles under 2 hours. Yes, horses bred for long distance can probably run way under that, but it's at least an interesting question- your reasons are either irrelevant or a misunderstanding of the discussion. Probably because you are dumb and your parents were unfit to raise children.
First, we domesticated horses for lots of reasons- they serve as pack animals, and they allow us to travel long distances without using our own energy. If a horse could only run a 3:00 marathon, we'd still domesticate them, and they'd still be useful, so your first point is irrelevant.
Second, "men regularly outrunning horses" is not the question. The question is whether a horse could break 2:00. If horses can only run 2:10, for example, that's still better than almost all humans. Obviously horses can outrun humans at most distances, but it's at least worth pondering whether a horse can run longer than 15-20 miles without stopping for a rest.
I wonder if you just go around calling people "morans" in real life instead of just being a civil human being. My guess is that you're either a depressed coward who takes out his frustration online in his mother's basement, or you're 12. Take care!

+1
The worm in Eliud Kipchoge's leg will break 2:00 if he ever does.

Only the people who indicate they are a moran.
You are wrong about your guess.
My guess is that you believe humans are the greatest running animal ever. They are not.
A horse can run four 1.5 hour marathons straight with a rider on its back:
http://www.chronofhorse.com/article/world-endurance-record-broken
That's averaging 3.5 minutes per mile for 100 miles.

Also that horse had NO Testosterone and didn't once complain of low energy and poor recovery, nor did it seek a TUE.

we don't know that. I know nothing about Arab long-distance horse racing, but the horse world in general is notorious for doping.

It's a gelding. If you were going to add testosterone back into the mix you wouldn't take it out in the first place.

Some moran is going to still argue that humans are better somehow despite a horse being able to thrash El G in the first mile and then repeat that 99 times with no rest.
Or maybe the horse actually took a nap in there.

The pronghorn is not a antelope.
You are correct, pronghorn is it's own genus and species and they are not directly related to the antelope of Africa and Asia. I have been on capture operations of pronghorn, where a helicopter rounds them up from afar and herds them to a corral. Have seen these animals cover 15 miles in 30 minutes over varied high desert shrub terrain at 7000 feet elevation.

But it's still called an Antelope. Deal with it.

Migrations can be as long as 2,000 to 3,000 miles, and the geese are capable of flying up to 1,500 miles in a single day if the weather is good."
https://forum.americanexpedition.us/canada-goose-information-facts-photos-and-artworkTo maintain air velocity a goose needs to beat it's wings forty-three times every second. But the actual speed depends on whether it is an African or European goose and whether it is unladen.
Geese that can flap their wings nearly as fast as a humming bird? Do you have any video's of this? It would be cool to see.

Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.
video's what?
