Why did she not take her husband's name?

Why didn't he take hers???
Buy a newspaper, look at the date, it's not 1916. Are you living under a freaking rock? Name changing is not a thing women automatically have to do, and it especially doesn't make sense for women who have established themselves under their maiden name. If you think a woman should automatically take her husband's last name and forego one half of the name she has carried her whole life, I hope you don't have a wife, because you probably expect other idiotic, misogynistic things of her too. Is that seriously the best comment you can make about a world-class caliber athlete? Why she didn't follow some sexist social convention from previous centuries?
"Pull a rupp?"
Can you tell me what major international marathon Rupp has won?

I'm pretty sure he meant win a marathon debut. Jezzus rojo.

He did win that one half-marathon running against a slew of hobby joggers.
That session shows what we already knew: she is in phenomenal 10K/half shape. Whether that translates at NYCM is an open question.
Always fun to watch her run. That second mile really compromised the session, though.
Agree that seems like a 10k workout. Getting progressively slower on intervals not a good sign for marathon. Looks amazingly fit and lean. Hope she runs well.
That's a decent 10-15k workout. What does it tell us about her marathon shape?
what were the splits?

Sigh...Rojo
If she was planning an upcoming 10k and had posted this workout everyone would be saying the reps were too long and/or too slow. Isn't 4:56 her 10k pace? This is just fine as a marathon buildup workout. No one claimed it was designed to let Letsrun be able to predict her marathon time.

And in every workout video I have seen of Rupp, he is always getting progressively faster each rep.
You guys do know that you'd be well advised to do some workouts at 10k pace to prepare for a marathon, right?
Still, it is hard to really run lights-out on your first marathon. For this, I am going to have low expectations and hope she surprises me. Go Molly.

Seems like Rupp is either slagging his first reps or pushing himself beyond what the workout was in the later ones - unless that is how the workout is supposed to go. Her reps did not get 'progressively slower.' After the second, too fast one, she held them very even the last five, and all under the goal by one to four seconds. Not every workout is meant for you to blast the last reps as hard as you can. Usually that is defeating the purpose.

It is apparent she not 100% committed to the relationship. I give it a few more months.

Dang rojo. I know reading is hard but you could at least pretend to be able to comprehend something, seriously man.
'Can she pull a Rupp and win in her debut?' Doesn't get much more simply put than that.
New question: Can she get her half split under rojo's IQ? Or is that unfair to give her such a low number?

Didn't she just run 6.2137 consecutive 4:51.8's with no break a couple months ago???? Why would this be a big deal?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
