So I know I will get some trollers but that's fine, you guys actually crack me up sometimes. But just curious what you guys think about one of my athlete's workout from today.
3 x mile in 5:20-5:25 w/2 min rest. followed 1600 in 4:38, with first 1200 near all out, and all out for last 400. He ran the final rep all alone on a crappy asphalt/grass loop, we do not have a track.
He is a high school senior, improved very well last spring and ran 4:21 and 9:22. I have only had him go all out really twice so far this season, and unfortunately he did not have good races on either day. So i have been a little unsure of his fitness but he has looked great all season in workouts.
