Let me make a few points.
It needs to be remembered that this far from the first time this has happened in Toronto. This is the third time I've seen a fan in Toronto throw beer in just the games I've been watching.
Last year, they pelted the field against Texas and a baby was hit with a beer can according to deadspin. In 2013, they threw a full beer on another Orioels player Nate McClouth.

They also are stating that in 2012 a Jays fan threw a can of beer on an umpire.

There has to be consequences.
MLB should ban all alcohol sales for the Texas series. Then the Jays management and the fellow fans in Toronto will start to take this issue seriously.
Has there been a single arrest in any of the incidents?
