I have been playing the field a lot recently and have been having a lot of fun and success. I recently had somewhat of a scare though, and it got me thinking. I know I want children at some point, but I don't think that will be for 5-12 years. I absolutely do NOT want to bring a child into this world with the wrong person or at the wrong time, but I also want to continue having fun. I'm thinking seriously about freezing some of my swimmers and getting a vasectomy. I'm wondering if anyone has gone through this and if they have any input. How much does it cost? Is there much risk that my sperm won't work after being frozen? What if they don't take and I run out of stock?
I am doing some googling, but I thought I'd ask here too since first hand experiences are generally most informative. Thanks.
Very active sex life. Don't want kids for awhile though. Should I get a vasectomy?

I opted not to get one.

Did you come here to humble brag about your sex life and seek actual advice? Because this isn't the place for answers to the questions you ask, they can be easily found with an Internet search. Or perhaps by contacting the local sperm bank where they receive these inquiries every day. Or maybe visiting an Internet men's forum with guys that have more sex than your typical letsrun poster.
Here I have provided a method for finding the answer to your first question regarding the cost of a vasectomy: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=cost+of+vasectomy
So all that leads me to conclude that you are indeed a lazy idiot and you probably should get a vasectomy, for the benefit of humanity as a whole. -
...sperm freezes you.

Never get a vasectomy if you think you might want children later.

Stay out of my field you perv or I'll set my dog on you. -
You should research possible links between vasectomy and both mental illness and prostate cancer.

I thought whaking off caused insanity.

Wow. Had never heard of such a thing, nor would I have expected it. Stuff like this is why I posted the thread. Thank you! -

Well said, the OP has never played the field in his life. -
Jerry and Newman in the office of Bernard Wendroff, M.D. - urologist. Elaine and Kevin enter.
ELAINE: What are you guys doing here?
JERRY: We're getting vasectomies.
ELAINE: Why?
NEWMAN (to Elaine): I'm doing it for you.
ELAINE: What?
JERRY (to Kevin): What are you doing here?
ELAINE: Kevin's having his vasectomy reversed.
JERRY and NEWMAN: Reversed?! -
I've thought about getting it done but that's it - a mere thought.
It seems so unnatural that I can't do it. Also what if I, God forbid - perish the thought, lose my wife and need another woman to help me rear the kids. The new wife will want something in return, likely kids. I've not read up on reversals but regardless if that's even possible it sounds as retarded.
Unless I get someone with Baggage and an Ex, loaded with drama.
The ideal would be to get someone younger without children and with stamina. -
That's great! Keep us posted!

Got one 15 years ago. Love it. No second thoughts.

Snip, snap! Snip, snap! Snip, snap! You have no idea the physical and emotional toll that three vasectomies have on a person!

Just have sex with guys for now.

This turned into a good one, nice job guys.
