Meanwhile, three women teams continue to be ranked - Penn (#22, up 1), Yale (#23, up 6), and Harvard (#27, down 1), while Princeton (#31, down 9), Cornell (#39), Columbia (#40), and Dartmouth (#45) are receiving votes. Brown is no longer receiving votes in the poll.
Seriously: 7 of the 8 women's teams receiving votes to some degree? Not too shabby! How many other conferences can show over 80% of the conference getting votes in the national coaches poll?
I feel Princeton got dinged quite a bit since they did not run Curham and Bird for HYP, as Harvard only dropped one position with the coach saying they rested 3 of their top 5 for the race. I bet Princeton will jump back into the rankings in October once Curham and Bird are racing again.
