I'm glad he didn't run in Rio and medal. What if it was him there instead of Lilesa, would he have thrown up the Oromo protest sign (he is one)? Then his family would be attacked by the government and he would definitely have more problems than his Achilles. Whereas now Lilesa can take the Oromo protest mantle and let Kenny B prepare for his WR assault.

I don't see him being dropped like everyone else was. kipchoge definitely had a bit of a kick at the end. Would have been interesting to see them go head to head
