Felix intentionally threw the baton. Is that allowed?

Results now list USA as DQ
Brazil, US, and Kazakistan all DQ'd in that heat...
YOU CAN"T advance in a relay if you are interfered with. Brasil dq.
Agreed.
The NBC online stream is so much better than watching the TV version. No commercials, good commentary, and no pointless athlete interviews
-There would have been no contact if the stick was in the center of the lane
-(I like Felix) but she should not have been in that spot
-Clyde Hart or Pat Henry should be relay coach

The number one problem with track and field. Not enough coaches get fired for doing a bad job.
Nobody gets fired for doing a bad job so don't single out coaches or I'll let you know that you're a racist.

Do you think it will happen. If it does, can Mitchell resign before the meet?
Insiders report that the US stick is slippery because it is covered with Balco Cream and Clear.
Ato Bolden just said there are nine lanes on the track so he likes US's chances of getting into the final. I don't know what track he's been at, because there are clearly only 8 lanes that go he full distance around the track. There are 9 down the home stretch only. Jeez.
I know we have problems with the relays but DAM let's not make it worse by bashing them before they run! We need to support our sport not bash it!!!!
I guess they were trying to compensate for her being out-dove (?) in the 400. Yeah no way she had the leg speed this year for a 4X100 relay at that level in such an important meet.
Oh thank goodness, Hammond the geezer just corrected Ato's dumb ass.

Well this will be interesting. You can't advance nine to the final, so will officials have the balls to DQ the host country?
There are 9 lanes on the track.
Brazil have been D'd and the US still not in the final.
There are 9 lanes on the straight.
There are only 8 lanes around the track.

The stick isn't SUPPOSED to be in the center. Straightaway runners run outside. She was in the right place. Brazilian as too far inside.

Agreed. Show me where the #4 finisher in the 200m gets that spot consistently and I'll show you film of Lochte getting robbed in Rio.

Agreed, but there are any number of others. This isn't THAT hard but we've put agents and allies of Hightower and her Putinist reign in charge of national team interest. Sigh.
Saw one report that said they'll rerun tonight to see if they get in on time. Not confirmed.

China and Canada are in.
What's the point of having 9 lines just for the homestretch in the first place?
Looks like the US is NOT advancing to the final, despite appeal.

Looks like the Brazilian's arm is encroaching and hitting Felix.
