Oklahoma State's top 10 streak was 10 years (2005 - 2014). Wisconsin's was 19 years (1996 - 2014) and that included a top 5 streak of 10 years (1999 - 2008).

Two schools you're missing:
OSU (you guys are forgetting Craig nowak who was injured last year, but still was up there
Furman- they keep rising up there
TRACK POWERHOUSE TEXAS? Dude... Texas????? POWERHOUSE? How many points did they score at NCAAs on the men's side this year in track? 2? Something like that. If A&M was in the big 12 they would have beat the next closest team by 100 points and that's not a joke if you compare rosters.
Yeah I'm not really sure why anyone is paying attention to Texas right now, especially for cross. It will be a good year if they even crack the top 20 at nationals. Not coming anywhere near the podium.
Oregon definitely could've use Drew Hunter this year to secure them a top 3 team finish at nats but they still have the talent to get there without him
I may be wrong but wasn't Craig Nowak a senior last season.
I agree that Furman should most definitely be in the top 10 though. All of their core guys are returning, not losing anyone from last years team at nats.
Yeah craig used his last year... I don't know why, he should have used a medical red shirt (he had groin surgery).
My bad I wasnt clear, I meant the longest active streak
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Michigan? Looking pretty good heading in to xc based off of results from this past track season.
Flanagan: 8:04, 14:02, 29:13
Smoragiewicz: 8:02, 13:55, 29:50
Beller: 8:07, 13:56
Baumgarten: 8:02, 14:00
Bund: 8:14, 14:19
Mora: 4:02, 8:06, 8:45 (steeple)

9. Washington
10. BYU or Michigan
UT looking to get DFL at Nattys once again. They're lucky to be in the South Central region otherwise they would never get to run at NCAAs. The current team has followed a downward trajectory since their one distance coach was fired and they tried to create a more "well rounded" program.

They have a great core group! Should be interesting to see if those guys can all elevate their game together. There was another guy who I don't think ran track this spring but did run very well in Cross for them, Renburg, I think.

Furman is losing some guys to transfers
Iona look really good man! Got a great core returning & picked up two guys from WJC (Canadian 10k runner & Irish 5k runner). I know for a fact the Irish runner is legit at XC. Iona also always seem to fly under the radar and produce a big one at natties.
Arkansas also look good, solid 5 but no real stars (remember their top 4 was in a different order in basically ever race last season).
Wisco look solid although that was also said last year. Lots of people forgetting the Aussie Morgan McDonald (sub 13.30 I think), he's a real stud.
Ole Miss - lol good one. Oregon - have the talent but haven't seen them really produce at XC since I started following the NCAA. CU/BYU/NAU are always solid. I like NAU a lot this year as they return Futsum & another 5th year senior.
Michigan had a very strong track season, I expect them to repeat a top ten finish this year.
It may sound crazy now, but expect MIZZOU to be vying for a top 10 finish this year. They return 5 solid guys [Schneider (14:08), (Cook) 14:17, White (14:28), Roe (14:29), Lockley (14:29/29:41)], and add 3 kenyans who are all supposed to be studs from the start.
Refer back to this post in November.
^^^ please, 0/10 troll. Mizzou wont even finish in the top half of the SEC
Michigan getting some great grad students aand will be top 8.
Furman loses #6 man to transfer. Returns all else to #13 team.
For those placing OR so high . . .
You sure Ches is returning? He was non-committal about doing so in an interview last month.
Now, without Andrew Hunter, there will be no help from the true frosh class as Tamagno will need at least this fall season to adjust to more intense training.
Don't expect Haney to suddenly become AA . . . 10k xc seems well outside his comfort zone.
Andy Powell is a really good coach . . . but he may have less to work with this fall than in years past.
Mizzou has a cross country team??
You're forgetting that Kenyans are hit or miss. Unless you have a direct pipeline and a coach that spends time in Eldoret scamming for recruits, you could possibly end up with three duds.
9/10 future Lawi Lanangs are already running pro or trying to break into the marathon.
Mizzou also has a plethora of other pressing issues to work out. The incoming class has been slashed to record lows meaning less $$$ for the university. Cross could be on the chopping block, Kenyans or no Kenyans.
U of Oregon is questionable this year as Chez is questionable if he will run and Hunter is out.
Don't overlook Stanford. 3 guys ran very well on the track in the 5 km (13:25, 13:30, 13:40). They have two solid 10km guys, two very talented redshirt freshmen and probably one or two other guys to choose from.
Syracuse is strong and so is Arkansas, Colorado will have their distance animals ready to run.
Other schools will do the usual foreign athlete grab that could result in a contender if MRI wrist age verification on African student athletes is not implemented by the NCAA.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
