If I had to stay somewhere year-round, it might be Western Massachusetts. But there are some places I'd really look to go for the summer, like the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Door Peninsula of Wiscosnin, of the lakes of Minnesota. But Id doubt I could stand any of those places in the winter.

I would presume that the "if you could move" means that money is no object. Thus, Manhattan is the obvious answer. You will not find anywhere else in the world where you can find all the top arts, music, dance, restaurants, bars, theater and so on in one place.

Mostly right but...people (esp.from the South) are shocked by how scruffy and NOT friendly PNW people are. All depends on your situation, but for me PNW is on balance the best, and I've lived in most regions of the US.
