I am looking to do XC and then I would usually do Indoor Track followed by Outdoor Track.
However, I mentally burned out at the end of my outdoor track season which I contribute to roughly 5months of interval work which I do not like (indoor and outdoor). Also running on banked tracks do not sit well with my body so I decided to take indoor out of the equation.
I wanted to substitute indoor for the NYC half which was something on my bucket list for a while now. Since my xc season ends mid nov and the half is in jan I was going to use those roughly 7weeks to base build adding on to the base I already had for the xc season. Then I was going to focus on the 16/32 in outdoor track since I would have this large base already buiilt.
Any ADVICE?
