Right!
I mean not that t and f lawsuits mean anything to them, but how low can this company get?
In all the economic troubles of the past 10 years, the one trend we see and especially in apparel is companies being douche canoes and cutting costs, putting out crappier quality products meanwhile trying to push them and mislead people with hype and total bs promotion and advertising. In fairness nike is not the only company doing that. And now word is they have to cut costs even more? Good g0d. This is why it infuriates me to see professional athletes totally oblivious to unethical dynamics in American free enterprise. All they care about is their ego and running fast. Airheads living in a vacuum jar.
We got into our economic troubles precisely because of issues of ethics. We have a system of privileged boys club education / middle class voluntary servitude, with people clamoring for a chance to
Uplift the corrupt bosses and
keep corrupt institutions and ways of business rolling along
If not accelerating into eventual disaster.
These big companies in many industries, not just Wall Street, game the system. Law, government, regulations, subsidies. It's not 100% true across the board as there are indeed government agencies doing their jobs and some tax breaks that are meant to provide fair value for society,
But too much wrongdoing gets a pass.
Society as a whole suffers, while corporate fat cats and, for the time being, blissfully ignorant members of society (like most so called Christian family men pro athletes inc runners) get to enjoy themselves without the stress of moral conscience and responsibility.
Woe. I can't get excited about fast athletes anymore, clean or not because they are all a bunch of soulless empty heads spewing out the same cliche garbage on their social media.
