A lot of people I know. Every one of them ended up in a bust except one. But that one was dating site based on ethnic/faith.

I have good experience.
My co- worker met her husband on a dating site and has been married 20 plus years.
My brother met his soon to be wife on a dating site.
It can work.
I split from my wife 18 months ago and have been on the dating apps since then. Been on about a dozen dates, none of them a disaster , had an awful lot of fun and a number of short term relationships and one longer one which has recently ended.
I’m now having a break from the apps and if I meet someone in a bar, gym etc so be it. Think having some downtime after a long marriage and then dating for 18 months is sensible.
I’ll probably go back after Christmas if I’m still single.
Good experience
Happily married not

Ironic correction.
Have one friend who married a girl from an online dating site. It worked out well. Here is some good relationship advice from Bobby Lee and Norm:

I haven't done that but I know people who've met that way and ended up quite happily married. One man and woman had had disastrous previously relationships and had a pretty good sense of what they wanted and didn't want. It's all a matter of what you bring to it.
I downloaded one when I was bored. I was in a big-ish city for my internship (somewhere between 800k-1.2 million) and I was near a couple of colleges. Would get like 4 matches a day
Still happily married!
Met my husband on bumble.
Met my wife on Craigslist 14 years ago.
met my current gf and more than likely my future wife on tinder lol. i will say you do need to be rather attractive or wealthy to have any success on tinder. i am not wealthy
Met my wife on match.com. had a lot of success on that site.
Met my wife on Tinder while I was a senior in college. We went to different schools but matched while we were both on spring break in our hometowns which were close. Hung out 3 times during that week.
Of course. Open minded, Progressive humans can and do succeed. You have to change your ways of thinking.
Met my wife online at Love at AOL in 2000.
Married in 2002.
Still going strong.
