Alright: I was running a workout, the same one I do every mid-week practice (quarters with a few 200s on the end) when my hipflexor starts hurting. It started on the last 400, and continued to be painful for the rest of the day. The trainer told me to take 4 days completely off, so I did....and I ran today. It was semi-painful.
The trainer thinks I strained my hip flexor...does this seem consistant? Also, should I just scrap the rest of indoor? We have conference in less than 2 weeks. I am confused as to whether I should, I do not want this injury to turn into something chronic. Can I run without making the actual injury worse??? Thank you!!!
