You sure did!
Seriously, if I answered this too many could guess who I am!
It's been a lot, in many fields, and really, no big deal.
I will share this, almost never does a day go by when I don't see someone I have known or met on a tv show, or in a movie, or in the news somehow.
It happens all the time. Once I was walking down the street and saw a good friend on TV in 24.
We don't all have the same lives, and I'm not famous, happy to be anonymous with a few fun stories.

I've met
Virgilijus Alekna
Edvinas Krungolcas
Airinė Palšytė
Arvydas Sabonis
Valdas Adamkus
1. Chris Bosch when he was an undergraduate at Georgia Tech
2. Steve Harvey - (if watching him from behind the barracade counts)
I forgot my Bill Murray meeting!
My son was getting married and we held the "out of towners" family rehearsal dinner at Moscow on the Hill in St. Paul, MN. And we had the back room, where the bar was. Bill Murray was at the bar, by himself, chatting with the bartender. He signed a sheet of paper for my son, with the words "Rehearsals are for dummies. Get married now- Bill Murray," which remains framed to this day. He also ended up spending time with people later in the evening in the outdoor part of the bar. AMiable fellow- and legendary for these kinds of sightings.

Now *that* is cool.
For me, Carl Lewis and Frank Shorter.
Nearly all runners don't count as "famous" except track stars. Carl Lewis is famous as is Bolt. No one would recognize a long distance runner walking down the street in the U.S. To be famous you have to be recognizable to the average person. Someone mentioned Jordan Hasay and Tegencamp...get fing serious. Those are not famous people.
Paul Weller. Lewis Hamilton.
Have met hundreds of famous people: athletes, politicians, actors, musicians. I know several.
I live near many.
I’ve sat next to many on planes.
Three most interesting conversations I’ve had:
Ronald Reagan
Axl Rose
Sean Penn
Most friendly and lengthy conversations I’ve had:
Tom Selleck
Adam Sandler
Paris Hilton
As a former journalist, I have met a lot of famous people. As a musician, I have met and played with some famous people.
Incomplete list:
Pete Rose
Bill Shoemaker
Mark Plaatjes
Butch Reynolds (when he was an athlete and then again recently)
Brad Gillis
John Lee Hooker
George Foster (at a book signing as a kid)
Chris Solinsky
George Sheehan
Weldon Johnson
Bill Rodgers
Some posters on this thread, I am sure are stretching, "Met in person." One of the three famous down linemen, Purple People Eaters, bought me two drinks and I bought him along with three females at our table a round of drinks.
